I hesitated to write this review and draw more people to this fantastic place.

It’s a bit off the beaten path and the roads getting to it are “rustic” even for Tortola. You will be generously rewarded with a more relaxed vibe than cane garden bay, fewer people, and some of the clearest water I’ve seen in the Caribbean.

There are a few beach bar&grills here. They are Cash only so come prepared. Reasonably priced for their location and some of the best food we had while on the island.

Anegada is a very laid back island, located off the beaten path, about 14 miles from Virgin Gorda. Beautiful beaches on the north shore. People are very friendly. Several great restaurants. No real night life. Ferry goes from Tortola to Anegada 3 days per week. Small airport. Most people arrive on either the ferry, or by chartered boat. Best to get around the island by either taxi, or by renting either a car, or a moped. Great for a quiet, relaxing vacation.

This used to be an amazing place. It has been sullied by the cruise ship industry. It is now covered with chairs and umbrellas. Such eyesores. Now it is over run with people all day and dead at night. Makes me think of the old saying “nobody goes there anymore, it’s too crowded “.

Beautiful beach. Easy access and parking . Calm seas with swimming. Great for relaxing. Good beach bar to the left of the beach coming from the car park. Had good catribean chicken curry and rice with beer for lunch.

This was an amazing beach day, far from the maddening crowds at other beaches during a cruise stop. Great waves, too!

The only thing that could ruin this beach is overpopulation. Honestly, what made it great was that it felt like a private experience at a picturesque place. Is this paradise?

There was a clean restroom and a place to rent boogie and surf boards as well as get surfing lessons. Additionally, we had a tasty lunch there. WiFi, too for debit card and Venmo payments.

I'm merely leaving this review because I depend on reviews when making travel choices, but trust me: I do not want a bunch of people flooding Josiah's Bay. Other than a hurricane, it's the only thing that will ruin it. Yes, support the businesses there (snack and surf shop) and also... preserve paradise!

it was so nice to see that they have preserved this historical site. the young lady who gave us a tour (only $5, including a tasting of 5 different rums) was very knowledgeable and very sweet. the rum tasting was interesting and enjoyable, we took home a bottle of their 10 yr old rum home with us. excellent!

This was one of the last beaches we went to on our visit, so I have to say, we were a little bit beached out, but I really liked this beach. It is known to have sea turtles and string rays, which it did not disappoint, however there is nowhere to rent snorkel equipment on this beach (there are really no permanent structures like restaurants or bars... just a few food/drink trucks)

People around us where pointing out their turtle and sting ray sightings and we saw turtles come up for air a few feet away from us in the water which was really cool. The water is crystal clear so you can go out quite a ways without snorkel gear, but you can't really see as well. I suggest bringing snorkel gear if you come out to this beach.

Dived with Caribbean divers, very professional and friendly operators, boat fast and spacious. Equipment good. The team and dive guides were very helpful and friendly.
The wreck is well spread out and in two sections bow and stern. We dived the bow first and deeper than the second dive on the stern. A nice relaxing dive, although a bit of current at times.

We called in here as part of our tour from a cruise ship. Only stopped for a short while to sit and have a cold beer. Seemed a lovely spot to spend a Couple of hours here. Nice marina, was quiet when we were there. Was planning to have one of the painkiller cocktails, but decided on a cold beer

This first National Park in BVIs and apparently established in 1964 to preserve and regenerate what was lost through decades of deforestation. Sage Mountain is the highest point in all of the Virgin Islands. Really the views are nothing short of spectacular. My wife and I paid a quick visit when touring the area and enjoyed the stop off immensely.

Our island tour took us to this quaint little beach. Some small shops and restaurants. Picked up a small painting from a local artist.
