All of the staff and I mean all of the staff could not be kinder, sweeter, or have more skilled customer service qualities. From the reception with the glass of wine to turn down bed in the evening it was definitely a class A experience with five stars for beauty convenience class in the ease of getting around the island in a golf cart was fun enjoyable and allowed us to go to many different restaurants Plus the restaurant in the Pink Sands. - carm123Phoenix69 contributionsThis town has a very long history and many of the quaint buildings and homes are historic—some dating back as far as the 1700s! Take some time to visit the public library. Between the reference materials and books we learned a lot about the buildings, the island and the people. Some of the original families on the island still exist, like Higgs, Percentie, and others. Also, we visited one of the cemeteries to learn more.
