What travellers are saying
- FredColby, KS53 contributionsGreat views, bike not needed but you can see more of the trail with a bike. Hiked in to the first trestle (about 1KM or 1/2 mile) and views of the forest, valley, Kelowna are very nice and peaceful (on a Tuesday). Saw others reviews complaining about the road to the trail head. Really? There were probably 50 vehicles at the trail head when we arrived from micro cars to pickup trucks. The road is not that bad.
Rental bikes starting at $50 per 4 hours seems excessive.Written September 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Michelle OChristchurch, New Zealand1 contributionWonderful location for a family ski holiday. Our unit at Stonebridge was in a great location very close to the Bullet lift and a short walk to the Village. Quality of the snow was really good, great variety of terrain and no queues.
We ate at The Bullwheel, The Woods, Underground pizza, Sasquatch Sushi and Sopra. Quality of the food was consistently good and staff were great. Highly recommend Toasty, a lovely cafe/bakery which makes the best toasted granola, rolled oats and has fresh loaves of sourdough delivered on Mon, Wed and Fri's. Very easy to self cater healthy breakfasts/lunches between Toasty and The Market.
Would definitely visit again.Written January 20, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We caught the animal show the second visit, which was well worth it! Extra fun that you can feed the animals little treats the staff provide.Written September 14, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cassie HCalgary, Canada1,082 contributionsYou can’t deny the imposing beauty of this place. The architecture is stunning and the interior opulent. I love the rooms for the private tastings. The sommeliers are very well-informed and the wine is of high quality. It’s pricey but they’ve earned it.Written December 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- DeborahjuneToronto, Canada735 contributionsNot just an apple farm!!! You can buy lots of different kinds of fruits and vegetables here but there is so much more to experience. We visited just before Hallowe'en so the pumpkin patch was full of pumpkins. They had train trips to the patch many many times per day. Great play areas for kids to have fun. The bakery sells lots of homemade items including their famous apple pies. The freezer is full of baked goods including local apple sausages, meat pies, breads or purchase items fresh if preferred. The apple room has an area where you can test any of the different apples that they grow and sell on the farm. We enjoyed some hot apple cider too - delicious! There's also a wonderful gift shop where you can purchase gifts and items but also any of their homemade jams, jellies and sauces. They make everything right here on the farm - a great way to keep their staff employed during the winter months!!Written November 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Stefanie3 contributionsWe had a great time on the train. There is a big difference in the view depending on which side of the coach you're sitting on. One side you are abutting the mountain and the other you have a gorgeous view of the valley. We were in the Faulder car so can only speak of those seats. When you look at the pictures of the cars on their website to pick your seats, the ones on the bottom row are valley views. Not that you can't see if you're in the other seats but it's definitely not as good.
Seats were very comfortable and it was a beautiful journey through time.Written October 5, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. As you ascend, you will notice a fantastic view of the city from above. Well worth the trip. - MM Frog TravelingVancouver, Canada23 contributionsOsoyoos Lake was absolutely breathtaking. The water was so calm and peaceful, creating a serene atmosphere. The surrounding landscape—rolling hills and lush greenery—only added to the tranquility. It felt like a hidden gem, quiet and untouched, the kind of place where you can just relax and take in the beauty of nature. The stillness of the lake, combined with the gentle sounds of birds and rustling leaves, made it a perfect spot to unwind and reconnect with the peaceful surroundingsWritten November 18, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Cassie HCalgary, Canada1,082 contributionsI had such a wonderful time here with my husband. We had stopped in for a tasting. I appreciate you can choose your own wines, though the ambassador did give us some suggestions. The wine was all good, especially the Chenin Blanc and Old Vines Marechal Foch. But what really made this visit special was when we were told we could actually buy a bottle of wine and go enjoy it at a picnic table in the vineyards. They provided us with little plastic cups and we had a wonderful time.Written December 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
