Eduardo was amazing, he explained many things about the culture, history, and plant life throughout our whole trip. He is a fun and friendly tour guide that I would recommend to everyone!

The views and places we visited were amazing !

I had a great time!! I highly recommend doing the tour because you get to see so much of Huatulco. Everyone working in and off the boat was helpful and friendly. Decided to do the snorkeling (extra cost), and it was worth it. As a non swimmer, my guide made me feel safe and was patient with me.

Our guide Rolando (Rolo) was great! He explained the history of the area on our way to Playa Escondido. Stopped at the beach for photos and a snack, then a chocolate factory where we sampled various items. The group releasing the turtles were knowledgeable and protected them as they made their way to the water. The lagoon was beautiful, make sure you go closest to the new moon for the best results. The waters were glowing white when swimming and when you raised your arms out of the water there were blues speckles along your arm.

Did the 7 bays tour. You snorkel at one spot for what was supposed to be and hour and a half but after about 40 minutes I found it dragging on as there was the same fish at the resort we were at. The rest of the tour was really good as the captain tried to find aquatic animals to see on route. He more than succeeded as we encountered dolphins first. We then spotted sea turtles which we got up and close to but not to close and got some great pictures. We then got radiod there was whales spotted so we headed in that direction. We got the pleasure of seeing a humpback and her baby and we stayed back a good distance but close enough to see them and got the famous tail flip coming out of the water. After seeing the whales we spotted a stingray that had actually jumped in the air and back into the ocean. Never got a picture as you would of had to have the camera going already to catch it. Was quite the site to see though. Lots of smaller black tunas breaking the surface as well. Went for a shore lunch. Was on the expensive side but overall worth it just for the experience. The guide we had was pretty funny and very knowledgeable. Was fun to be on the boat with. Lots of beer or other drinks if you wanted any. Overall great trip and they try very hard to find things to show you. This trip they managed to do just that.

We took part in the snorkelling tour and it was great from the moment of booking - Roberto was very informative and helped us book the right tour for us. Our tour was private and was a wonderful experience - we saw lots of marine life including two turtles. Polo, our guide, was super helpful and knowledgeable, giving us lots of information about the local area. Loved it!

We had a littel trouble getting started. Paraiso Huatulco forgot to pick us up! However, we got it worked out, and our guide Alfonso made it worthwhile. What a fun time! The drive to the fall is long but also beautiful. Our group, ranging in age from 20 to healthy 80 really enjoyed walking to the falls, climbing rocks, and leaping into the refreshing water. Lunch was absolutely fantastic. Such delicious chicken in black mole, tamarind pork, black beans and rice, cucumbers, and hibiscus tea. There was a little market selling mole, hibicus flowers, food treats, and medicinal herbs. This was the favorite tour of many of my family.

The food tour was fascinating! Well worth taking. I learned a lot about the local dishes, the history of corn, the way foods have changed around the world as a result of colonization and the history/culture of the Huatulco area. We enjoyed sampling the many tasty dishes and seeing all the different small vendors and restaurants.
With Jane as a trusted food expert, we could try places and foods we never would have felt comfortable to on our own and mark them down for return visits. So many tasty treats. Thanks, Jane! It was awesome!

We had a great time riding the ATBs out to the river and back.
Good instructions from Freddie made it easy for us even though we had never driven ATVs before.
Definitely a great way to spend the morning.

I had the opportunity to attend the tour 3 different times!! All three times were spectacular and very different. From seeing diving whales to sailing between hundreds of playful dolphins, and snorkling with a turtle. I'd like to think I saw it all, but I just didn't. This place has so much to offer, which you will learn a lot about if you pay attention to the brilliant guide. The whole crew is great, listening to your whishes and making you feel at home right away!

The snorkeling was amazing. We saw a wide variety of colorful fish and coral . The best snorkeling of our trip!. Our guide, Javier, was knowledgeable and very helpful both on land and in the water. The walk through the jungle was very interesting with vines over our heads. I would definitely do this trip again!!!!!

It was a decent tour. Raciel took us to many beauty spots and lookouts around Crucita and the marina area. He was a good tour guide. We went to two businesses in the town. One was a tourist shop that sold souvenirs and mescal. We were offered different mole sauces, corn chips, dried grasshoppers, and sample the mescal and/or hot chocolate. We were there too long, in my opinion. Then we went to another, higher level tourist shop which was, for me, much more interesting. We were shown a demonstration of the process of making the beautiful hand woven rugs of the region. She explained the use of the insect cochineal in making dye for the wool. Real works of art! Then, we were directed to walk around the town plaza square and meet him on the other side in approx 20 minutes. This also very interesting and felt safe. I wish we had spent more time at the plaza, but we did have time to visit the church briefly, but Mass was going on, so not possible to learn about the church at that time. Overall, it was a good tour and the van was very nice and air conditioned.

Our family had a wonderful time learning techniques and recipes for making tacos (with homemade tortillas), salsas, and margaritas. Alfredo was super-well organized and entertaining as we cooked and then sat down for lunch. This experience was our favorite during out trip to Huatulco, as we learned about Oaxacan cooking and cuisine. Would highly recommend taking a cooking class - this is from a family that has minimal cooking skills.
