What travellers are saying
- baywatchHydeHyde, UK116 contributionsMy husband and I have just had the most amazing time in Canada. We stayed in Hamilton Ontario with family. We visited Niagara Falls which was spectacular but also went to Niagara On the lake, such a quaint place we loved it.
The views from The CN Tower were just amazing.
If you go to see the falls, then please make the short distance to Niagara on the lake. The wineries were also fab for tasting sessions, but also a lovely restaurant called The Lake House which was amazing. We loved Canada, such a very different and enjoyable holiday.Written November 12, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Very beautiful church however but stay to make it worth the money you pay.Written November 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kungaloosh!United Kingdom239 contributionsBeen to Stanley Park a few times, cycled round the seawall, walked through it and feels it’s great place for the folk of Vancouver to have on their doorstep. Is it perfect? No, public spaces rarely are. But it’s a generally well kept public green space that it’s easy to take for granted to escape from the city.Written November 9, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - postnoteNorwich, UK292 contributionsVery impressive tower, that is where it ends. Guy in caffe was grumpy and to be honest if he cannot make visitors feel welcome then maybe look for a job elsewhere.
We ever we go I like to ask questions unfortunately there was no one there who could answer my general questions about the tower.

A quick 15-minute ride up and time at the top to walk all the way around and also hike up to the Cosmic Ray station for even better views. Even had a little time to check out the exhibits about the area inside. It had been threatening rain most of the day but luckily it held off.Written October 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - notperfectalas2california376 contributionsMust visit for any visitor to Toronto. This is the "original," the likely template for many public/food markets in North American tourist destinations. But this is no tourist trap. It is home to over 100 vendors and merchants selling international foods, flavors, and curios. You want japanese or australian wagyu beef? Sturgeon caviar from Italy? Fresh baked breads? Portuguese custard tarts? Fresh seafood? Fish and chips? Smoked meat Sandwich? Fresh produce? Prepared foods from so many different regions? All there and so much more.Written October 28, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

The panoramic view it gives whether it’s day and night was splendid. We had a memorable stay in Quebec and one of them was the Spectacular sight of the Chateau Frotenac ❤️Written October 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Elizabeth H24 contributionsDuring my visit, it was less packed which made it a more pleasant experience. In addition to seeing various types of marine life, I met some interesting people. I met a school group visiting from Bogota, Colombia, and it gave me the opportunity to practise speaking Spanish, since their knowledge of English was limited. They'll remember this trip to Toronto and visit to Ripley's for days and years to come. One of the official languages of Ripley's Aquarium of Canada is Spanish.Written November 8, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - ITRTVirginia44,775 contributionsWhat a beautiful place! The gardens cover more than 55 acres of flowers, shrubs and trees. The estate has been in the hands of the Butchart family since the 1920s. The site has been designated a National Historic Site of Canada. We started our walking tour in Waterwheel Square. Be sure to take a few minutes to look at the water wheel and the little boy fishing statue. The square includes a visitors’ center, gift shops coffee shops and restrooms. The Sunken Garden (my favorite), and the rose, Japanese, Italian and Mediterranean Gardens are all located in the complex have been blooming for over 100 years. The gardens are still operated by members of the Butchart family. Approximately 100 gardeners maintain the grounds. Totem poles, a carousel, and several fountains and statues can be found throughout. Highly recommend a visit here.Written November 10, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- sanju_222323New Jersey17,072 contributionsThe expansive green space in the center of the city is home to Mount Royal, the mountain (really just a large hill) from which Montreal gets its name.
It is the highest point in the city. Towering over central Montréal, Parc du Mont-Royal (Mount Royal Park) is frequented by joggers, picnickers, dog walkers, and bicyclists throughout the year, and it's one of Montréal's largest green spaces
During the warmer months, (we went there on US Memorial weekend, May 2024)- you can rent rowboats on the park's Lac aux Castors (Beaver Lake), but we preferred the Chalet du Mont-Royal (also called View Point) - It offers breathtaking park and city views any time of year. You can also take a stroll through one of the park's three cemeteries (one English, one Jewish, and one French). Mount Royal also has a lake (Lac aux Castors, or Beaver Lake) where you can rent a paddle boat, admire baby ducklings, or iced skate, depending on the season
There are several eateries on-site as well as a gift shop and bathrooms. The park is open daily from 6 a.m. to midnight; the Mount Royal Park Welcome Centre is open from 8 AM to 8 PM daily. Admission to the park is free.Written November 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
