What travellers are saying
- RoxtorNova Scotia, Canada598 contributionsBanff National Park is one of the most beautiful places on earth and although I have been here many times I never grow tired of it. The park is an easy drive from Calgary and there are many options for a stay, from camping to luxury hotels. The town of Banff is a pretty mountain town with lots of great restaurants, bars, hotels and scenery. Trails around the town are wonderful for cycling or walking. I avoid weekends because it gets extremely busy and my favourite time of year to visit is winter because skiing at Sunshine or Lake Louise is as good as it gets anywhere and there are no crowds. If you are planning to stop in the park then you need a pass which can be purchased at the entrances. I ordered a National Parks pass on line and it’s good in all National Parks for the year. For spectacular beauty, and unforgettable scenery there’s no better place than Banff National Park.Written January 22, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - claire tColchester, UK26 contributionsFirst time x country skiing after years of snowboarding so opted for the private lesson and added an additional hour. We went to lake Louise which was beautiful and although a cold day kept extremely warm!
The booking process was easy and great equipment supplied. The added bonus of a warm cuppa and home baked biscuits just made the whole thing even more personal.
Massive thank you from both of us, we had the BEST day with Anna-Lisa, she is one of the best tutors I’ve ever had and made it all so much fun and relaxing.
We shall definitely be doing this again with you guys and have got the big now for a new winter sport!
