We went for sunset and it was beautiful. Wished we had dined at the Sky Bistro instead of in town but you live, you learn. When we got to our pick up time and no bus appeared a quick call to the office and a check with the driver reassured us that he was on the way. Understandably they pick up from many hotels and there may be delays but it was good that we could actually check with someone. All were very reliable and on time and it really made it easy to get around, especially linking Canmore to Banff. They were patient when we made them wait a little longer while we were finalising things at the restaurant, and we are so grateful. - Jean W4 contributionsAlthough the shuttle is more expensive than taking the public transportation it was an extremely convenient and enjoyable trip to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. The shuttle will pick you up at a convenient location in Banff, drop you off at the destination and arrange a pick up time that allows plenty of time for a hike or leisurely stroll and lunch. We packed our lunch to eat on the trail so we did not have to wait in food lines. Driver was knowledgeable, polite and very engaging. - R A2 contributionsTL;DR - Prepaid for a private shuttle, but it never arrived, and the company was unresponsive. Only after a chargeback did they offer a refund. Unreliable and unethical.
We prepaid for a private shuttle service, expecting a smooth and reliable experience, especially since we were traveling with two toddlers. We specifically chose this shuttle service over an Uber because they offered child car seats, which we needed and paid extra for. Unfortunately, it turned into an absolute nightmare. After arriving at the airport, we were left stranded with no shuttle in sight. I called the company 6-7 times, left voice messages, sent texts, and emailed, but got no response whatsoever. It was as if they had vanished, leaving us to scramble for alternative transportation with two small children, which was both stressful and expensive.
What made it even worse was the company’s utter lack of accountability. No one ever got back to me to explain what happened or offer any form of assistance. Only after opening a chargeback with my credit card company, they finally sent me an email claiming they "missed" us at the airport and would be refunding the payment. The refund came only after I took the drastic step of initiating a chargeback.
Their lack of professionalism and complete disregard for their customers' time and well-being is unacceptable. No one should have to go through such an ordeal. I highly advise avoiding this company—they are unethical and unreliable. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - AbelCheungNepean, Canada5 contributionsThe first part of the shuttle was fine, we arrived at Lake Louise without any problem, and we were also able to get on the shuttle to visit Lake moraine. When we were ready to go back from Lake Moraine to the park and ride, the line up was incredibly long and they were suppose to have bus every 25 minutes but we were all waiting for like 90minutes, at around 7 pm which should be the last bus to go back to the park and ride, it came with 3 buses and they picked up the majority of the people onto the buses; however, there were still people waiting in line to be picked up. I hope they didn’t end up walking back. I can understand the capacity issue from lake to lake, therefore, you need to control how many people at each lake site, but it shouldn’t be a concern at the park and ride as people are leaving from there. - Roving41858Okotoks, Canada4 contributionsTHE WORST cab ride EVER! From Banff train station to hwy 1 and 1A junction. Maps say 7 kms. Charge was $45 plus MANDATORY 15% tip(!!). But worst part was driver was horrible. Did nothing but aggressively and constantly complain the whole way there that it was such a big deal to drive a few minutes out of town. Like seriously just a few minutes. Then the charge for such a short trip cause it was considered a flat rate plus tip destination as per dispatch.
