- BananaCalgary, Canada106 contributionsI very much enjoyed the workshop I went to called Whale Hello There! The cost is $25 for one, two for $35, and three our four person options. This workshop was a 15 minute instruction with 1 hour 15 minute make time. Definitely needed the time to be my super detailed self. Anyone can do these workshops, which is awesome. It was a bit busy because it was a weekend and seemed to have some pretty cool parties going on. I’ll book during the week on my next visit. I cannot wait to go back!Written October 19, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- coffee522Calgary, Canada178 contributionsI shop here for specific items not found in some of the other toy stores. Although the store has a good selection of brands, I find their pricing policy very strict. If you buy an item and it goes on sale the next day, they will not make a price adjustment. Nor do they mention that a sale is going to take place shortly should you be looking at something in the store. This is a locally owned store- they know when sales are going to take place but it seems they are very reluctant to mention things like that. As well, if an item is returned that is not damaged they charge a 20% re-stocking fee- I have never heard of such a policy in a small toy store. Just make sure what you purchase is exactly what you want.Written October 8, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - David KavanaghCanmore, Canada10 contributionsMy kids went today to do some pottery painting and had such a wonderful time. They said the staff were so kind to them and created a fun atmosphere. They can’t wait to go back. Be sure to send your kids for some fun activities in this cold weather.Written February 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - AngieCalgary, Canada86 contributionsMelba did a workshop for our Girl Guide unit and it was brilliant! I know tripadvisor is for trips but I often use it for things to do locally :) The workshops she has on her website would be such fun for a corporate team building, birthday, bachelorette, family gathering etc. We did a soapmaking workshop and it was beyond soap making. It was deep, it was interesting, it was teambuilding, the kids and adults left motivated and encouraged. Visit the shop and the lovely heritage neighbourhood of Bowness at the same time! If you happen to time your visit with a workshop she's offering then lucky you!Written March 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
