- J TEdmonton, Canada87 contributionsWe were downtown for The Works art festival and noticed that admission to the art gallery was free for Canada Day! Very cool architecture. We enjoyed looking at all the displays. I don’t know that we would’ve ever payed to go here so it was nice to experience it for no charge. Both my husband & I have mobility issues, no problem - they had electric scooters for us. Buildings, paths & landscape all a historic display of how the Ukrainian immigrants in this part of Canada lived. We were fascinated and spent 2 hours & still didn't see everything we wanted to (but it closed as we got there late in the day) Check hours of operation when you go. It is well worth your time. It’s obvious they are very passionate and love what they are doing. On top of it all our photos turned out amazing.
