- Charles B2 contributionsRobbie (I believe was his name) was an incredible host; very polite and informative with good humour. His dog is also very cute and a nice companion for the trip. The tour bus collects you at your accommodation and is well-warmed throughout the journey, and each stop is planned well with a good amount of information. It’s very clear how good it is to be shown around someone who clearly enjoys the area and has good knowledge of it. There are plenty of opportunities for you to take photos of the area, with great time to soak in the scenery before moving onto the next spot.
The tour group I was with was only 4 people including myself, and it was still great. I was happy that the tour continued despite being a smaller group, and all people present were also nice and welcoming.
Presuming that all tour guides are like Robbie, this is definetly a tour worth booking and it’s completely understandable why it’s so positively reviewed. I learned so much about the area, got the chance to see some wildlife and amazing views, and enjoyed the pace of the trip. Specifically, I enjoyed getting off the bus for a short hike at the canyon and the boat ride on Maligne Lake among other stops. Thank you for a great day! My thoughts are still with everyone in Jasper as I am deeply saddened to hear about the devastation with the wildfires. It can only be experienced with eyes, animals all around you beautiful, towering mountains, and glaciers.. we went on a boat cruise to the secret island on Mula Lake(may have spelt that wrong sorry) camping there is so luxurious. Tried really hard to see a bear but it was one of those days when they didn't want to be seen! We got a good view of a bald eagle on the nest and the pictures of the big horned sheep were amazing.

So many times, when you do a self-guided tour, you miss some of the things you are driving by. This helps to bring more info to you as you drive along the parkway. The GPS link is fairly accurate, so you get the next commentary as you are approaching the discussed area. The only downside is it can be a bit confusing sometimes on the correct direction that are referencing for you to view. - G SSydney, Australia7 contributionsWe were able to visit Jasper soon after the Town was welcoming back visitors post the recent wildfires. We had Ben drive us from Lake Louise and again to Banff. We also had Kevin take us on his new tour of the town and surrounds. Both guides were passionate Jasper-ites with intimate knowledge of the area. Their narratives helped make our trip.
Their before and after observations came from the heart, providing another dimension to our experience.
Being locals we also bumped into locals. They were gracious, welcoming and happy to share some time. 🙏
