The Fraser River is the longest river within British Columbia and it is also known as the Salmon River. Rising at Fraser Pass in the Rocky Mountains and flowing into the Strait of Georgia at the city of Vancouver.

A bit of a drive from the Main hwy 101 along logging roads. When hauling, they recommend you stay off the logging roads between 6am-6pm monday-friday or get a VHF radio with the correct frequency, ask the tourism office in Powell River for where to obtain this. Road is passable for a 2 wheel drive with good clearance. Flats are common. Along the way great serviced camp spots but the best is up past Goat Lake. We are not climbers, but views and great scenery make it a worthwhile experience.

Excellent facility. Rooms well appointed, modern, and immaculately clean...very refreshing to walk into. Courteous staff, very clean lobby, quality breakfast...excellent $$$ value.
    Only had a 1 star rating on HotelsByMe....should be a 3 or 4 Star.
