I walk the trail often with my two dogs on leash. I always worry where I walk with them as too many irresponsible pet owners think their dogs are ‘special’ and they don’t have to follow the on leash policy of the trails. But so far so GREAT - everyone seems so friendly - even the other pets and the odd horse at the western section of trail. ENJOY - the scenery is spectacular and there are bathrooms along the way.

Recommend poles for this hike. Good workout going up and poles are helpful especially coming down. The view is spectacular of Cultus and the valley. On a Monday the trail was not busy. Bring plenty of water. We did not do the extension to Thurston as it is another 4 km and we were out of time. Recommend an early start to take in the Thurston portion.

I was looking for a quick morning workout and this trail did it - nice and easy up, could even run a good portion of it. There are stairs once you get to the Sisters (what's remaining of them), so I did the stair loop a few times, and back down. Might be too short for some. A bit odd to find as the start is in the Campground - but I found it ok.

I love the Cheam Wetlands. It's lovely in any season. There are lots of trails to check out, viewing platforms and even a few Geocaches if you're so inclined.
There are several picnic tables, a covered picnic area and outhouses.
In the Winter, when the wetlands were frozen, I watched some skaters out on the lake.
I would recommend a visit when you are in the area, bring your binoculars and camera, you never know what wild life you may see there.

Finally got out to Chiliwack to walk and ride the trails, had a great day and only 35 minutes from home (Mission)
A very easy drive to get to, plenty of parking, and a nice to spend the day, or at least a few hours. Will be going back!

The golf course has been on the bucket list for some time. We finally got around to playing the course. The course was in great shape. It’s an older style course with trees used to separate holes. We were given 2 beverage coupons redeemable at the concession stand by Hole #1. Because we don’t consume alcohol while playing, we decided to visit the stand after finishing playing around 4:30pm. We were surprised on this hot and sunny day the stand closed at 4pm. No biggy problem since we got our coolers downstairs in the bar. Just found it strange that the stand would close so early on a thirsty day.
One more thing we observed. We didn’t have our regular pull carts with us so decided to power cart. The young fella in the pro shop who took our green fees left the counter to get us a power cart. It wasn’t busy in the shop but we wondered if this was normal or if they were running short staffed. If there was a lineup, I could see this causing some consternation.
We had a classic breakfast which was a great bargain for $7.50. Other places easily would be charging $11-$13.
All in all a fun day at Chilliwack golf course.

Playing a round at The Falls is an annual summertime event. On a hot day, a twilight round offers awesome views NE and NW. The setting is where valley meets mountains rather abruptly, and the contrast is stark when visible from above.

So, even if you don't care much for golf, the views alone are a treat to see. But like Digby, I found the course a bit rough around the edges, the bunkers suck, it can be smushy in spots on the fairways (natural with the slopes so hey...) and the greens are not nearly receptive enough considering the surrounding jungle-like terrain.

Still, I did card a Par on the signature #11 hole LOL

Beautiful setting, incredible value ($40 for 18 wi/ cart at mid-day in summer). Recommend you go enjoy a round up there in summer so conditions are drier.

If you like golf and haven't played The Falls, you should!

This is a fun 9 hole course. Good mix of Par 3’s and 4’s featuring a variety of terrain( short, long, wide, narrow, uphill, downhill), you’ll see just about everything. Greens were in average condition. Probably takes a duo about 2.5 hours to complete, would definitely play this course again.

The people who now work in the pro shop couldn't be more friendly and helpful! the golf course has been much better maintained and organized, greens are in fantastic shape. the point is, what a difference to see all the changes in the golf course. i liked it so much i bought a yearly pass. great price and value for a yearly pass.

We planed a vacation to Canada but unfortunately chose this bed and breakfast. First of all, it was almost impossible to find the house. No signs anywhere just a few 8x11 papers on the entrance door which were hidden from the street. We called the place to get directions but nobody answered the phone. After an hour of driving around looking for this B&B, we ended up getting directions from a nearby gas station. We finally found the place and rang the door bell, but waited for about 10 minuets until finally Charles opened the door. Before even showing us the place he made sure he charged the card and had us sign the agreement.
The house is nice, but really crowded with all kinds of things. He showed us the room where we where supposed to stay, it had a bed and one mattress on the flor for the boys. Charles was really specific not to touch (open) the dresser. There was just no room for your stuff!!
After coming back from dinner we again waited about 10 minuets for Charles to open the door and let us in. The only access to your room was through the front door of the house. I had to call him and he finally picked up the phone and came to the door.
I wanted to have a relaxing time together with my family but obviously this was not the place for us!
We decided to take our stuff and go somewhere else.
I do understand that it’s a big inconvenience for both parties and some of the money should be kept by the host, but I don’t believe it’s fair to charge the full amount of 4 days including breakfast since we didn’t even unpack our stuff. I tried to resolve the issue, but didn’t get an answer until later when Charles told me that Ashly is actually the owner and she is going to look into the matter. We haven’t heard anything since!
Save yourself a headache and money and stay away from this place!! They’re so many other places where you and your family can relax in this beautiful area of Canada.

Chilliwack River Rafting is awesome! They are well equiped and prepared. The guides Tristan and Bruno were friendly and knowledgeable. The Chilliwach River is beautiful. . . their camp/ranch is right on the river and very peaceful during the week.

Our guide was very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. We caught 4 fish and guide was amazing at setting us up quickly for the best pictures. Scenery was beautiful with eagles, seals, wild flowers and mountains all around. The fish we caught were a good size and made our friends jealous!
