Well worth the time spent to hike the trail. Great photo opportunities in the Fraser Valley. Easy hike with no challenges and one that I will do again with my family.

Recommend poles for this hike. Good workout going up and poles are helpful especially coming down. The view is spectacular of Cultus and the valley. On a Monday the trail was not busy. Bring plenty of water. We did not do the extension to Thurston as it is another 4 km and we were out of time. Recommend an early start to take in the Thurston portion.

Finally got out to Chiliwack to walk and ride the trails, had a great day and only 35 minutes from home (Mission)
A very easy drive to get to, plenty of parking, and a nice to spend the day, or at least a few hours. Will be going back!

I was looking for a quick morning workout and this trail did it - nice and easy up, could even run a good portion of it. There are stairs once you get to the Sisters (what's remaining of them), so I did the stair loop a few times, and back down. Might be too short for some. A bit odd to find as the start is in the Campground - but I found it ok.

I love the Cheam Wetlands. It's lovely in any season. There are lots of trails to check out, viewing platforms and even a few Geocaches if you're so inclined.
There are several picnic tables, a covered picnic area and outhouses.
In the Winter, when the wetlands were frozen, I watched some skaters out on the lake.
I would recommend a visit when you are in the area, bring your binoculars and camera, you never know what wild life you may see there.

    Phenomenal experience. Highly recommended.

Our guide was Dean and he provided us with a wealth of knowledge and history of the area. His passion was very obvious and genuine.

Do yourself a favour, if you're on the fence about booking with these guys, get off the fence and do it. You will not regret it.

Booked for a bucket list and bachelor party. There were 4 of us on the trip and had an absolutely amazing time. Booking was easy and issue free, nothing got missed and directions for licences were easy to follow. We stayed in Harrison the night prior, got up and made our way to the boat launch about 30 mins away for 7 AM. We met Pat and jumped on the boat. Was a great boat, lots of room for the 4 of us, the top was up in the case of rain and headed out. Pat got us to our first stop in about 30 mins, the ride alone was pretty awesome, jet boating in the mountains, how's that not awesome on it's own? Once we arrived at the first spot, Pat gave us a tour of the lures and bait to be used as well as equipment. We had booked an 8 hour day. Within the first 30 mins or so of bait in the water we had our first fish on. With a good fight and some laughter we got a 5' sturgeon to the boat, up and in. Pat went through the fish with us and identified the unique aspects of a sturgeon for us. The remainder of the day we got an additional 7 fish to the boat, had another 5 or 6 on that didn't make it to the boat. The largest being the 5' fish of the day, but many more close. Pat had a lunch provided for us which was spectacular and a great day all in all. Great weather, great scenery, great fishing and an awesome guide . We are all avid fishermen, have done much inland, lake, river, and deep sea, and this experience certainly stands at the top of any prior trips. We will be back, and have to blame Pat for a now addiction we all feel we have. Would recommend 10/10 every day!!

Pack your lunch, rain gear and sense of adventure! Fishing for sturgeon is a blast. The fish fight hard, jump and have powerful head shakes. Sturgeon Hunter has many years of experience on the river and knows these fish.

The golf course has been on the bucket list for some time. We finally got around to playing the course. The course was in great shape. It’s an older style course with trees used to separate holes. We were given 2 beverage coupons redeemable at the concession stand by Hole #1. Because we don’t consume alcohol while playing, we decided to visit the stand after finishing playing around 4:30pm. We were surprised on this hot and sunny day the stand closed at 4pm. No biggy problem since we got our coolers downstairs in the bar. Just found it strange that the stand would close so early on a thirsty day.
One more thing we observed. We didn’t have our regular pull carts with us so decided to power cart. The young fella in the pro shop who took our green fees left the counter to get us a power cart. It wasn’t busy in the shop but we wondered if this was normal or if they were running short staffed. If there was a lineup, I could see this causing some consternation.
We had a classic breakfast which was a great bargain for $7.50. Other places easily would be charging $11-$13.
All in all a fun day at Chilliwack golf course.

Playing a round at The Falls is an annual summertime event. On a hot day, a twilight round offers awesome views NE and NW. The setting is where valley meets mountains rather abruptly, and the contrast is stark when visible from above.

So, even if you don't care much for golf, the views alone are a treat to see. But like Digby, I found the course a bit rough around the edges, the bunkers suck, it can be smushy in spots on the fairways (natural with the slopes so hey...) and the greens are not nearly receptive enough considering the surrounding jungle-like terrain.

Still, I did card a Par on the signature #11 hole LOL

Beautiful setting, incredible value ($40 for 18 wi/ cart at mid-day in summer). Recommend you go enjoy a round up there in summer so conditions are drier.

If you like golf and haven't played The Falls, you should!
