What travellers are saying
- spud0018Mississauga, Canada624 contributionsSmall market with a nice variety of fresh produce, craft and food stalls. Street parking nearby. Good for a stroll around especially if you're looking for something to eat. Wednesdays and Saturdays. Easy to get to - near the mall.Written July 29, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- mr m1 contributionGreat place to visit for a fun-filled family day. Plus the cherries are the sweetest and crunchiest around.Written July 28, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- calgaryguyKelowna, Canada423 contributionsWe have lived in Kelowna for 10 years and this was our first visit. Shame on us.
Small galleries have a certain charm. They do not come across as imposing, as big museums do. They also present other than the masters, so are a little easier to appreciate.
This gallery met these criteria and we enjoyed our visit. The focus was on Canadian artists and some of the works were lovely and some were quirky. Not all met with our admiration, but we enjoyed being exposed to the variety. There was a separate gallery dedicated to the grizzly bear, and a third exhibit showing interviews about racism. We preferred the Canadian artists' exhibit.
We were greeted pleasantly and will be back. We concluded our Sunday afternoon with a pleasant walk along the waterfront and a coffee at an outdoor patio. Great afternoon.Written September 25, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - AprilgirlWinnipeg, Canada296 contributionsthis is in the artist home and yard. Geert Maas does really interesting bronze work as well as acrylic, lacquer and oil painting. It was a wonderful experience viewing his work and being able to ask the artist questions. Take the time to go see this. It is very interesting.Written September 27, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- spud0018Mississauga, Canada624 contributionsDecent-sized mall with a good assortment of stores. Good place to cool off in the heat. Easy access from 97.Written July 29, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- RonInKelownaKelowna, Canada430 contributionsAlways interesting stuff going on. Went to see a "paddling" film fest about kayaking and canoeing. Great venue.Written April 16, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Susan CKelowna, Canada149 contributionsHambleton Galleries is always a fun spot to drop into and see what is new. The staff are always gracious, and the openings are welcoming and tasteful. The Gallery manages a diverse and quality collection ... lots of good quality local scenes and local artists.Written March 19, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ReggieRegina, Canada836 contributionsWe stopped for an ice cream/gelato treat. So many wonderful flavour choices. It was hard to pick just one. Tastes fresh made. It was cool and a bit rainy so we didn't stay long, but they have a nice patio with chairs if the weather is pleasant.Written August 12, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kanadian2016Edmonton, Canada40 contributionsI have shopped there many times in my life and just recently on a trip to Kelowna.
The BC liquor store there is great! Big with helpful employees. Fantastic selection of everything! I was very undecided on what to drink and an employee introduced me to Vanilla vodka (Sky), Acai (or pomegranate) juice, topped with Sprite (I used soda water with lemon and lime and stevia). Delicious!!! New favorite. Thanks lady!!
The dollar store is great! Good selection and helpful staff.
The grocery store is well stocked and helpful staff. Same with the drug store. Starbucks is nice to have there as well.
Everything you need for travelling (except big ticket items) is there to grab and go. Great location!!Written August 12, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - AriabelleCalgary, Canada39 contributionsWe went on a hunt to find this place and finally asked a shop owner in the area who told us this has been closed for at least 5 years :(Written June 14, 2015This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Jenny MOkanagan Valley, Canada200 contributionsEven our young (8 years old) grandson enjoyed the lavender and herb farm. The tour is extremely informative. Their shop is filled with wonderful (albeit pricey) items.Written August 19, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- ASASG_7Vancouver, Canada1,358 contributionsSadly unable to visit the actual Carmelis location but by great good fortune picked up a piece of their "The Velvet" goat cheese while at a tasting at the Mt Boucherie winery. Today I opened it, sliced up some pear, had a glass of Mt Boucherie wine and WOW. Looking forward to visiting their location in future and will definitely hunt down their product again. Outstanding!Written December 3, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- CodyWinnipeg, Canada1 contributionI had a wonderfuk time at Meadow Vista, it was the last stop on our winery tour and it felt the most educational and enjoyable. I arrived in the slow season and there still was a steady flow of customers. The only thing I can say is their products are top-notch! After the tasting I bought several bottles of mulled mead as christmas gifts and they arrived within the week, they even called me to confirm some things with my order! Incredible customer service and affordable products in their online shop made me ecstatic to order from them again. Also, I think it’s the perfect way to support the bees, since I had no idea their honey could be turned into such a wide range of excellent things!Written November 24, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Kirk WSaskatoon, Canada113 contributionsWe went there as recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint…and we went back a 2nd time the next day as well. The croissants are amazing whether a butter one or ham and cheese or spinach and feta! The desserts were decadent and artistic and the staff were friendly and then it was just plain super delicious. Pricey but worth it.Written November 14, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Sahar Ashour8 contributionsI could have stayed in the store all day! There's so much to see and explore! So many unique items and gifts! Its a real treasure and I absolutely loved it! My elderly mother and 7 year old son both had a blast walking through the store.
The ice cream was such a delicious treat as well!
On top of ALL of this, the employee there, Nick, was so polite, helpful, and informative! I sincerely hope he is recognized for his amazing service.
This will definitely be somewhere we visit EVERY time we are in town!Written August 13, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
