What travellers are saying
- Samuel HCalgary, Canada175 contributionsCame here on Wednesday and Saturday near the end of August. The Saturday one definitely has the most vendors. Even went to the small one on Sunday at the waterfront.
Parking is challenging if you're coming from the South side of Kelowna. The first time we went was on Wednesday and we parked at the mall across the street. The second time on Saturday we found the dirt parking lot beside the market that you can get in from the North side.
There was a good selection of vendors from alchohol, soda, honey, fruit and vegetables, crafts, food trucks and everything in between.
It was a great way to spend an hour or so wandering down the aisles taking a look at all the offerings. It can get quite crowded on Saturday's so watch out for that.Written August 29, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. They only let certain number of people in to the farm at a time so it is not overly crowded. I suggest go early (like as soon as they open) so you don't have to wait until the group before you finish picking. I highly recommendWritten August 13, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- AprilgirlWinnipeg, Canada296 contributionsthis is in the artist home and yard. Geert Maas does really interesting bronze work as well as acrylic, lacquer and oil painting. It was a wonderful experience viewing his work and being able to ask the artist questions. Take the time to go see this. It is very interesting.Written September 27, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- calgaryguyKelowna, Canada447 contributionsWe have lived in Kelowna for 10 years and this was our first visit. Shame on us.
Small galleries have a certain charm. They do not come across as imposing, as big museums do. They also present other than the masters, so are a little easier to appreciate.
This gallery met these criteria and we enjoyed our visit. The focus was on Canadian artists and some of the works were lovely and some were quirky. Not all met with our admiration, but we enjoyed being exposed to the variety. There was a separate gallery dedicated to the grizzly bear, and a third exhibit showing interviews about racism. We preferred the Canadian artists' exhibit.
We were greeted pleasantly and will be back. We concluded our Sunday afternoon with a pleasant walk along the waterfront and a coffee at an outdoor patio. Great afternoon.Written September 25, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - deepakgupta5Vancouver, Canada551 contributionsThis is apparently the largest mall in Kelowna. It has a mix of the usual bands found in most malls and a few local brands so it is likely to meet the requirement of most people. The food court has a good variety of choices. It is very centrally located.Written August 31, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Susan CKelowna, Canada149 contributionsHambleton Galleries is always a fun spot to drop into and see what is new. The staff are always gracious, and the openings are welcoming and tasteful. The Gallery manages a diverse and quality collection ... lots of good quality local scenes and local artists.Written March 19, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Kanadian2016Edmonton, Canada40 contributionsI have shopped there many times in my life and just recently on a trip to Kelowna.
The BC liquor store there is great! Big with helpful employees. Fantastic selection of everything! I was very undecided on what to drink and an employee introduced me to Vanilla vodka (Sky), Acai (or pomegranate) juice, topped with Sprite (I used soda water with lemon and lime and stevia). Delicious!!! New favorite. Thanks lady!!
The dollar store is great! Good selection and helpful staff.
The grocery store is well stocked and helpful staff. Same with the drug store. Starbucks is nice to have there as well.
Everything you need for travelling (except big ticket items) is there to grab and go. Tastes fresh made. It was cool and a bit rainy so we didn't stay long, but they have a nice patio with chairs if the weather is pleasant.Written August 12, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jaywing18Seattle, WA239 contributionsOh we saw this place on the way to Myra Canyon and stopped on the way back for a Mead tasting. The place was really lovely, with outdoor games for children and adults, a little café, and a big garden to wander through. Mead tasting offered five varieties of excellent mead for $5. The proprietor and her sister were lovely. They also had a nice little shop with homemade bee and honey -related items. If you love mead, this is definitely a stop for you.Written September 17, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
