We have lived in Kelowna for 10 years and this was our first visit. Shame on us.
Small galleries have a certain charm. They do not come across as imposing, as big museums do. They also present other than the masters, so are a little easier to appreciate.
This gallery met these criteria and we enjoyed our visit. The focus was on Canadian artists and some of the works were lovely and some were quirky. Not all met with our admiration, but we enjoyed being exposed to the variety. There was a separate gallery dedicated to the grizzly bear, and a third exhibit showing interviews about racism. We preferred the Canadian artists' exhibit.
We were greeted pleasantly and will be back. We concluded our Sunday afternoon with a pleasant walk along the waterfront and a coffee at an outdoor patio. Great afternoon.
