Don't worry, you do not need to know how to swim. Just not be afraid of the water. And in my opinion, you'd mostly spend time in the air than in the water. When my children were stuck at camp with the West Kelowna wildfires I trusted Lou to evacuate them when we couldn’t even fly in with flights cancelled ...we met them in Oosoyos. It has to be one of the most satisfying things to learn to do and the feeling of awe you get when you first take off remains everything you take off.
Moreover, both Brady and Kevin were absolutely excellent instructors that insured the experience would easier and more enjoyable than one may expect.

Our captain Cal, was in constant contact, getting plans together for our day. We were going to go down to frind winery, the only lakefront winery, and grab some pizzas and wine for the boat! Then off to tubing and water skiing
Mother Nature had other plans. The west Kelowna fire got tragically,
worse, and High winds kept kicking up over the lake. Cal kept trying to figure out the best way for us to reschedule our trip, and to make it happen as it is so beautiful seeing the countryside from the lake.
Unfortunately, our schedule was too tight. They were absolutely wonderful, honoring their insurance, and refunded back to our credit card immediately.
I can’t say enough about the customer service, and how beautiful it would’ve been to see Kelowna from the water.

- Paul BNapa, CA9 contributionsPrepare for a ton of fun with this company. It begins with wine tasting and a cruise on lake, and more wine tasting in the afternoon. The owners are super friendly, warm, and well-versed on the region and the wineries in the Kelowna area. We had a great day with them chatting, wine tasting, and had a nice dinner out at Quail's Gate. (Do not miss that restaurant!!!)
It is such a gorgeous area and the weather (although a bit hot on the water) was amazing. We learned a lot about the city, the wine growing areas, and the geography of the area.
I highly recommend this tour above all others. - Melody S1 contributionThis was an amazing experience! My friends and I was looking at what else we could do in Kelowna and we found this! Very unique boat tour! We didn’t plan this tour we just saw it online and thought of trying it and we were so happy that we did! It was a fun relaxing morning. The captain was very nice and accommodating! We just booked the one-hour tour! We will surely book again next summer and we will surely bring some drinks!😉

- Colleen Beger3 contributionsWe had family come from Ontario and took them parasailing on Okanagan Lake in Kelowna. There were 4 adults in our group and no one had ever gone parasailing before. The 2 gentlemen from Okanagan Parasail were fantastic. They were friendly, knowledgeable and put everyone at ease. The take offs and landings were smooth. The speed was not too slow and not too fast. I must admit I was scared stiff, but when you are up in the air and realize you are not going to fall, you can relax your hands, lean back in your harness and enjoy the experience. - karenco2015Boulder, CO21 contributionsHaving previously visited Kelowna in the colder winter months, we were really looking forward to a late summer sail on the lake. Captain Al did not disappoint. We spent a relaxing two hour cruise - spotting ospreys, looking for bighorn sheep, experiencing and listening to tales of the lake (a bear who visited the marina!). Our only disappointment was that we didn't have time for another sailing trip with Captain Al.
