Had been to an ice hockey game where we were told to be quiet by the only unfriendly Canadian we had met in our entire month of traveling.
We were walking back to our hotel and decided to have some food at the playtime.
The food was average but the staff were friendly, funny and delightful.
Would recommend for the great staff

This place is fantastic. Super clean, friendly, tons of activities. The French fries are amazing, so is the pizza. I came here with my six year old and nine year old three days in a row when we were visiting Kelowna and was not once disappointed. Instead of eating at restaurants we ate here and it was such a good idea, the kids could play while I relaxed or worked on my laptop with the free wifi. The laser tag was the nicest cleanest laser tag course I’ve ever played in. My kids loved the rock climbing wall too. The owners and the staff are super friendly and helpful. Will be back for sure next time we’re in town, can’t wait. It is such great value to get so many wonderful activities and food in one place! This place is a total winner.

Owner and staff are amazing people and really care about their customer's and are so great with the kids. Price is comparable to other trampoline parks, all trampoline parks require grip socks. Nice area for parents to sit and watch. Good little snack and drink cubby, you don't need more than that when your jumping! Clean and friendly.

We booked a birthday party for 10 children, aged 8-10 years old, and they absolutely loved it! We reserved 2 rooms for the hour and the entertainment party room for the next hour for food and cake. Some of the parents that were planning on dropping their kids off even decided to stay and play a game of their own! The facility is very spacious and allows privacy for any groups attending without the feeling of being crowded, which is great for today's social distancing. The prices were very affordable for everything that was offered. Rita at Simplex was fantastic with the kids and accommodating to our requests. Her assistance made our party flow with ease! I highly recommend Simplex Sportszone for your next birthday party. A group of us are now planning on reserving a few rooms for a family fun night the next time we go out!

We did the Potions room. This escape room was well thought out. Challenging but not frustrating. A fun way to spend an hour. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Capital News Center has two ice rinks, two indoor soccer fields and a concession stand. The ice surfaces are generally excellent, however there is a lack of seating on one of the arenas, and there is virtually no watching space outside the arena for people who want to stay warm.

How disappointing. After driving all the way from Grindrod with family and grandchildren, we found the restaurant has been dismantled, there is NO food other than mini donuts and bags of chips, and the animatronics are shut down, hidden behind old curtains. Half of the arcade games were out of service. There were no benches or chairs for grandparents to sit down while dishing out money for the children. We had been looking forward to this family excursion as the younger ones had been there before and said it was great. I guess that was before 'covid'. Bonnie Henry strikes again. Another business heading downhill.
Here's a suggestion for the owners: Update your website. False advertising is NOT cool.

Parkinson Rec Centre is a great place for locals or visitors to come if they're looking for a variety of activities for the family or for themselves. There's a great pool for young children which is warmer and a larger pool to play in with a seperate space for swimming lanes. They also have a basketball court and the facility has times set aside for open gym/basketball. There is also a variety of outdoor activities to participate in which include trails for bikes or walking, a Pickleball court (super popular in Kelowna), outdoor gym equipment and a basketball hoop, all which is set beside a beautiful & calming stream. Despite the fact that the building is a little older, it is well maintained & clean. It's set in a beautiful setting with ample parking.

If you want a happenin vibe and a party atmosphere, don't come here. Strathcona Beach is a smallish park tucked away in a residential area such that the tourists and party hounds don't know about it. And that's just the way the locals want it. Mostly families and couples taking up some grassy space or laying on the nice sand beach. A children's playground and washroom facilities round out the amenities... and a small parking lot. It's also good to know that the water stays relatively shallow for a fair distance... safer for little ones and the water is warmer because of it. And of course, if you get injured and need medical assistance, the hospital is right behind your back. 4 stars.
