Hiked in to the first trestle (about 1KM or 1/2 mile) and views of the forest, valley, Kelowna are very nice and peaceful (on a Tuesday). Saw others reviews complaining about the road to the trail head. Really? There were probably 50 vehicles at the trail head when we arrived from micro cars to pickup trucks. The road is not that bad.

The falls were well worth the trip as parts are fairly steep to climb. We are from out of town, this is our second time going to axe monkeys and we were so happy to find they have added a rage room! We brought a friends teenage son, and everyone had fun. The customer service was above and beyond, we had one person that couldn’t make it due to unforeseen circumstances, and we were unexpectedly refunded for that person. Don't worry, you do not need to know how to swim. Just not be afraid of the water. And in my opinion, you'd mostly spend time in the air than in the water. My heart raced with excitement as we approached the launch site for a once-in-a-lifetime experience: flying high above the valley in a hot air balloon with Okanagan Ballooning.
The balloon, a vibrant splash of colors against the morning sky, slowly filled with hot air, rising like a giant as the burner roared. Before we knew it, we were climbing into the basket. Our pilot greeted us with a smile and a few safety instructions, but all I could focus on was the breathtaking view around us.
As the balloon lifted gently off the ground, the world below began to shrink. The vineyards and orchards of the Okanagan Valley stretched out like a patchwork quilt, the calm waters of Okanagan Lake shimmering in the early light. The air was cool and fresh, and the serenity of floating through the sky, without the sound of engines, felt almost magical.
We drifted peacefully over the rolling hills, our pilot expertly guiding the balloon using subtle shifts in wind currents. Below, I could see people waving from their homes, and the gentle breeze carried the scent of pine and sage. The view of Kelowna was like a dream—endless horizons, the lake reflecting the autumn sun, and the vibrant fall colours beginning to show.
After an hour of floating in awe, the pilot skillfully brought us down to a soft landing in a grassy field. As we touched the ground, I couldn’t help but feel grateful for the peaceful adventure. - Courtney3 contributionsVelo Volt is the only bike rental in the okanagan that I will rent from. I’ve ridden in Lake Country and all over Kelowna. Always such a blast and Sarah and Kendra are so knowledgeable and always recommend the perfect routes! Their bikes are top notch and kept in such great shape.
