The experience was not what I was expecting, but my expectations were exceeded. I was quite impressed with Greg's descriptions of the wines in our tasting flight and telling us where the grapes were grown for the wine, all on the estate. My companion and I decided to join their Hillside wine club, and we had a great overall experience. This was my second visit to Hillside (my first in 21 years), and they changed a few things over that time, but I think the experience was better overall.

We have had the pleasure of visiting Ruby Blues several times over the past few years. My husband and I have visited dozens of Okanagan wineries and love supporting local. This particular winery is one that we return to again and again.

We find the tasting experience at Ruby Blues to be exceptional. The tasting room is lively and welcoming. The wines are very good value. The staff is exceptional, particularly Kerry. She makes the tasting experience fun AND informative.

This winery understands that reservations and hefty tasting fees can be a turn off. They explain on social media that their "tasting fee" is a smile and they mean it. No charge to taste.

In addition to their wine shop, we have enjoyed a tasting on their patio. They have a nice picnic area and cold wine available for purchase.

    Parking is ample.

This one surprised me when I made it inside. The exterior is in pretty good condition and it’s definitely a fun place to visit when you’re in Penticton. The inside was an eye-opener and I would definitely say this is worth your time while you’re staying in town.

We showed up unexpected and were greeted and very warmly welcomed by Michael. He took us through a beautiful tasting on the patio.
All of the wines were extremely delicious and presented with the perfect mix of charm, humour and knowledge by Michael.
    Highly recommended

We enjoyed an amazing meal in the restaurant overlooking the vines and lake. Tapas and rose to share. Finished with a tasting and great info and delicious wine. Especially loved the Malbec. Gorgeous place!

The view from their patio is lovely. We came here for a tasting and charcuterie combo. With covid-19 our food item was served in disposable containers which brought down the experience a notch but happily enjoyed.

Although my sister and I have been to this restaurant previously, this visit was a very different experience. My niece accompanied us so when we made our meal and beverage selections, we included items we hadn’t ordered before. We enjoyed the Ratler, a tasty grapefruit beer. Our food order included Pretzel Bombs and a Cheese Board. The pretzels are homemade, filled with melted cheddar cheese and a Dijon alioli on the side — very, very yummy!! The tasty Cheese Board featured locally- made cheeses, dried Pink Lady apples, pickles and focaccia bread. Although a patio was available, we opted to sit at an inside table. The Cannery is part of the B.C. Ale Trail so don’t forget to have your pamphlet stamped. Apparel including tee shirts, hats, sweaters, coats and vests are available for purchase as is their beer. Their “Back Yard” sports a food truck with many food choices.

I've been a club member for more than a year and had the chance to taste some of the wines prior to visiting. I was looking forward to this tasting.

We tasted all of their wines and it is on the top of the list of the wines we had in the valley. The reds are soooo good and will get better if aged.

We had the chance to talk with the owner, John, for a good 10 minutes. We really appreciated this. Thanks for the chat, John.

I will definitely come back to this winery when I'm back in this region.

Nice little winery with a beautiful patio. Unfortunately the weather was not fantastic and we didn't get a chance to enjoy the patio. Wines were good, but a little pricier than some other places. The staff was very friendly, but our host was not knowledgeable about wine. There was a beautiful singer while we were tasting, but it was too loud and a little distracting.

Our visit to Pentage Winery was first class from beginning to end.

Just a short drive from Skaha Lake in South Penticton, Pentage Winery is beautifully situated overlooking the lake.

The tasting room is welcoming, roomy and breezy on a warm day. Tasting fees are refunded with purchase. In addition to numerous wines, Pentage had juice, cheeses and chilled wines available for purchase. Shaded picnic tables (overlooking Skaha Lake) are a really nice touch.

We were offered a variety of wines and sampled several. We very much enjoyed both their whites and reds. The entire tasting experience was greatly enhanced by a host who introduced each of the wines enthusiastically, providing background information and thoughtful insight.

Highly recommended for locals and visitors to the South Okanagan.

While touring wine country around Osoyoos we traveled the Naramata wine bench. I was thrilled to notice a craft distillery called Maple Leaf Spirits. Years ago we had found this place right in Penticton and it was awesome to see it had been moved out onto the bench with all the other fine establishments there. Our host and creator of the fine liqueurs and spirits there sat us down on his inviting patio with stupendous views of the valley overlooking the lake. We were served a wide selection of fine spirits that he makes on the premises. He also shared his personal journey in creating his business as we sat and sipped. My all time favourite was the maple liqueur. You absolutely have to try it!

A story that weaves love, passion and perseverance begins when Steven and Nicole met at Western University. The couple wished to explore a life in the west and transplanted themselves to Calgary where success found them for many years.

With a “Dreams don’t come true; dreams are made” attitude the French family eyes were set on their ambitious goal of discovering the Okanagan and creating a long lasting milestone in the wine industry- Little Engine Wines.

First purchasing an orchard to plant Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Merlot in 2011 and adjacent fields in 2013 to piece together their vision. It is beautifully along the Kettle Valley Railway which artfully pays homage to the “Little Engine that could” persevering attitude to always keeping striving.

To secure their passion project is Winemaker Scott Robinson (Simon Fraser University, University of Adelaide, Township 7, New Zealand, La Frenz) who offers a creative approach which is satisfying unique to the whole valley.

Lieutenant Governor Award winning , highlighted in Decanter and a benchmark in the industry. Terrior driven, regeneratively farmed, finest French barrels and best fruit reserved to crest this impressive portfolio.

Highlight: Everything! Multiple styles of Chardonnay and 13 clones of Pinot allows oenophiles a map to explore.

Had a wonderful elevated experience by the gracious and warm welcoming Amanda (former luxury cruiseship host). This haute sipping tasting is reminiscent of Fairmont Gold service with charm, attention and personal. 🏆❤️🇨🇦⚜️🍷🍇

We had an amazing time at Orolo in Penticton. Larry was very knowledgeable and explained how Orolo is in an old movie theatre. The food was amazing - best portobello sandwich to date. The wines were delicious. Don’t miss stopping in.
