The seawall at Stanley park is just to die for and definitely worth the bike rental for a bike ride around the park!

Granville Island was fun for our group, but I was a bit disappointed. There were enough bead, chocolate, book, game, puzzle and other shops to keep everyone interested, but the two things I read about and looked forward let me down. Hobbs Pickles did not sell individual pickles, and Lee's Doughnuts just did not taste fabulous.

Overall it was a good stop and not as crowded or dangerous as others have posted. We were there on a Saturday. We took the bus so we did not have to fight for parking and it was fine. Not a full or even half day activity for us, but everyone did enjoy it.

The aquarium is divided in themes which is great.

Our one year old baby really enjoyed quite a few animals, which is lovely.

We all loved the sea otters, those are really cute.

Some of the areas were closed due to maintenance. As a result of that no animals there.

I personally found the entrance fee a bit too much for what you get. Only a certain amount of people can get in so prior reservation of a ticket might be recommendable. The sooner you book the cheaper it might be.

There is a cafe and a snack bar and there are some souvenir shops.

Most places are reachable via an elevator or a ramp but some aren’t with a stroller or wheely as there are only steps.

We couldn’t check out the 4D as this is only for people older than 6 years of age.

There are some kids areas, like tables to do some drawings or a play area with small fish etc.

We only saw part of this huge park when we were in Vancouver.
Great city views, easy to get to via the sky train and a short walk.
Unfortunately the restaurant was full so we couldn't eat there.
Also visited Bloedel Conservatory in the park.

With no daytime plan, it was decided to check out VanDusen Botanical Garden - our first time visiting, ever! Now it is on the list for a return visit. Even after a blistering heat wave, the gardens were in good shape, and the lay out was inviting, plus the variety of plants and scenery was amazing. It turned in to a very chill and relaxing afternoon that was well worth the time spent meandering around most of the grounds. I have been through maybe 6 different botanical sites over the years, this is the one I've enjoyed most in Canada.

After a bike ride we took the AguaBus to the island. We loved the market and all the food choices. We ate lunch and picked up meats and sides for dinner. There are so many shops and restaurants. It is touristy, but when a tourist - be a tourist!

The Museum of Anthropology is definitely worth a visit while you're in Vancouver. The main focus of the Museum is one the indigenous nations of Canad and their costumes and traditions.

The museum has some other temporary exhibitions, all of which are rooted in Anthropology and studies in people and cultures.

I spend well over three hours in its premises and there was room for even mere.

We walked part of the seawall, should have rented a bike and gone all the way around. Great views! Our day was a little rainy and misty, but the low lying clouds over Lion's Gate Bridge were so nice.

A little pricey but good if you want something out of the ordinary.. Enjoyed the wind & mist that coordinated with the film ride.

Everything downtown was very accessible and close by. I enjoyed all the upscale shopping and various eateries.

A nice way to see the city from above. Great views of the city and Rockies on a clear day. Informative panels all around to explain some of the sights, though it wasn't always easy to spot exactly where the thing they were describing was.

A nice way to travel along False Creek and get to Granville Island from the Science World area.

Not all boats are wheelchair accessible so we had a bit of a wait the first time.

On our first trip we were given a discount for the wheelchair.

Another day we used the aquabus and didn't get a discount until I asked, so she gave me some change back, but it was not as big of a discount as we got the first time.

Employees need to be better trained so they know what to charge the passengers, it needs to be consistent.

Went with my two teenagers and a 6-yo daughter. Many interactive activities - everybody will find sth interesting. We all had a great time playing with different puzzles and learning at the same time.
    Spent there almost 4 hours.

Missed a bit things related to cosmos and space exploration.

This is a great way to travel from downtown WaterFront to the Vancouver Airport. The fare is reasonable and travel is fast and comfortable with lots of room for getting on and off with luggage. You don't feel rushed. Also you can wait and board inside at both ends of the journey with any adverse weather or cramped areas.
Although this is considered an airport train it does make many local stops along the way. Passengers need to allow ample time for this. Highly recommend. Valerie McC
