    Historic building that is still current
    About 100 years old and not missing a beat (in every sense). It opened as the Commodore Ballroom once upon a time and still retains its Art Deo character.

    On the street level it is all retail but upstairs, the spring dance floor and all the flavor still awe performers and patrons alike.

    Great beer & food
    Nice old industrial converted building. Great beers. Very friendly. Can lock your bike in view. Patio outdoors.

    Fun Night Out
    While staying at a Hostel down the road, a new group of friends and I went to check out The Roxy. There was a band the night we went so there was a line to get in and a cover once we got up to the front. It was packed inside, so I didn't get a drink, but we made our way to the dance floor. Overall the band was good and the dance floor was fun. Definitely a place for a younger crowd. Do not come here if you plan to sit and talk! :)

    Caprice
    I love going to Caprice only when Soul Good is playing. They have a main room, a small room and depending on the night upstairs bar is open cash only.
    Of course like any club in vancouver you have super creepy guys CONSTANTLY asking you to dance.
    The bouncers here are pretty big dicks.
    Table service starts at $800 but find a connection and you can get a wicked deal

    Solid club
    The cover, too high- was like $20, 25?. I didn't have cash and I was visiting from out the country so I had to pay HELLA fees at that ATM. Coat check, very reasonable, I appreciated that.
    So I had a bartender that I was/still am obsessed with. She was super helpful and attentive. Not to mention SUPER ATTRACTIVE. She kept my friends and I well "juiced" and just added to my experience altogether. I would come again for her. So I don't remember her name because me memory is terrible and I don't know where my receipts are, but it started with a J. Jess? Jen? (she has a ton of tattooss, a tonnnnnnnnnn) But she was great.
    The club played uhm i would say mainly 90s hits? Not bad. My friends and I had a god time. Luckily we didn't have to wait in a line, so that was cool. We got there around 11something i believe...
    I like the fact that there are couches so I can sit my lazy self down.. Pretty solid crowd. Didn't have to use the bathroom but my friends did and had no complaints.

    Very small, good music
    Pretty cool little club. Very interesting getting patted down before entering, but staff were nice. Music was really good but unfortunately not much seating. Was charged two different prices for the same drink too (do females get a discount or something?)

    Too noisy, too busy
    Didn't enjoy at all. Too crowded and waiting on front street that smells like pee with a zillion others. There were drugs being shared around too.
