Although the guide wasn’t a local, his passion for the city was clear. He was well-versed in its history, enthusiastic about its growth, and excited by its evolution. Despite the cold, he managed to balance outdoor and indoor time, ensuring we stayed comfortable throughout. - MervVancouver, Canada6 contributionsFrom pick up, Adrian was fantastic with great explanations about the history of the old growth forest, including types of trees, berries, and animals that frequent the forest. The suspension bridge over Lynn's falls was spectacular. The homemade treats at halfway gave us all the energy for the return trip. You couldn't meet a nicer guide that loves what he does. Allow 4- 5 hours for the 1/2 day. Mid range fitness is required as there are a lot of steps. Thank you, Adrian.

Glenn was our storyteller and he was very entertaining and also checked in with all members of the group to ensure everyone was ok and following along. It's nice to know information about Vancouver and it's origins no questions here however you need to know that the price is 30 dollars per person and you need to pay upfront. We think it's way overpriced considering it's a Vancouver and not Paris, London or Madrid (tours there are free and you pay what you think is fair). Second thing Gastown is a pretty noisy area and our tour guide wasn't speaking very loud so we've missed more than half of what was said (and our group was just 6 people). The carnivores thought the vegan dish was delicious and the sushi-hesitant was quick to grab the last piece of sushi. (That sushi really was the best we had ever had.)
