- 844sheila_London, UK3 contributionsWe took the grayline hop on hop off bus tour from Canada Place Vancouver. Our driver/guide, Sherry, was excellent. Entertaining, full of fun and stories. Went above and beyond. She Spoke very clearly. She engaged with all her passengers and had their full attention. She is an asset to the company. We briefly had three other drivers, and the experience could not have been more different, and made us realise what a stroke of luck that we had Sherry for most of our tour. ( But Sherry, just to let you know that Sherry is a wine from Jerèz in Spain - not France!!).

Having appeared in many films .. the exterior despite being different to the surrounding modern glass skyscrapers, belies the stunning internal art deco interior. Now predominantly offices, the access was mainly ground and 1st floor via a beautiful lift

Gas Town has some great shops and restaurants but...there are alot of homeless and drug users around..some shooting up on the streets and others doubled over with crack pipes in their hands. When we saw the area from the hop-n hop-off bus, we decided to give it a try and we are glad we did. It is a lovely garden and although we paid for tickets, they also told us to go to the free public Chinese Garden next door, as well. Both times we had an amazing experience.
The arena is fairly standard as arenas go, nothing really outstanding. The seating was comfortable, the views were the same all over from higher up in the stands. The food and drinks was standard fare for an arena and similarly priced, which is normally more expensive than standard fast food outlets.
What I liked was the atmosphere, it was like a party atmosphere and everyone was pretty happy. There was no real hustle of a big crowd and everyone was polite and making sure everyone was safe.
I really enjoyed my time here watching the ice hockey. We had a great time.

From the comfortable seating to the excellent food and beverage options, everything was well-organized and catered to fans. The atmosphere was incredible, and we left with great memories of both the match and the venue.
