A bike ride around the creek is a wonderful sight. Whether you're on the south side gazing at the skyscrapers or on the north side gazing at the other side, it's a pleasant place to spend some time taking in the views and scenery of this beautiful city.

I was walking west from the totem pole/yacht club area of Stanley Park which was crowded with cyclists, walkers, and photographers, when all of a sudden I was at peace - I had crossed the causeway and was at Lost Lagoon!
Others have commented on this, I see; so it is not just me that realizes when one needs a bit of tranquility after the hustle bustle of the great photo-op locations; come here.

The Port of Vancouver takes up a huge chunk of the area of the city's waterfront. The port is Canada's largest and one of the biggest in North America. Walking around the waterfront you get incredible views.

What a phenomenal trip! Added bonus is receiving my ASA certification in catamaran sailing! Captain Mike taught the course for what was an incredible experience to be on the boat for six days. Worth every cent!
