What travellers are saying
- Colin FToronto, Canada926 contributionsWhile not wanting to see Vancouver any busier than it already is, I have to say that no trip here is complete without a walk along English Bay. Touch the Pacific, people watch, count the freighters, sit on a log with an ice cream - it's fantastic in a mellow, westy coasty kinda way.Written May 23, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - HolidaymakerfromHoveBrighton and Hove, UK1,513 contributionsWe crossed false creek in an aqua bus to visit Granville Island. Very scenic waterway. The aqua bus was good fun and we got some good pictures from the waterWritten May 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - MikeB1952Santa Fe, NM1,040 contributionsThis is our third visit to Vancouver. For some reason this time I appreciated how densely populated the downtown area is. Lots and lots and lots of tightly packed high-rise apartments. With all of the development, Vancouver has done a wonderful job with Stanley Park and a host of urban hiking trails. The Lost Lagoon is one.
While waiting for a harbor cruise, we took a hike on the trail. In only a few moments we went from an urban to a 'wilderness' area. The trail is great. Well maintained. And foliage on both sides. We were truly away from the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our hike.
Oh, and there were a number of very small ducklings. Pretty neat.Written June 8, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Captain Mike taught the course for what was an incredible experience to be on the boat for six days. Worth every cent!Written March 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
