Three of us did the sea-doo private two hour tour with Justin and Anya. It was brilliant & they made it so fun. Lots of adrenaline & waves, a dip in Howe Sound & great info about the area & wildlife too. Highly recommend and will definitely go again! Brilliant!

I took the level 2 Paddle Canada course with Jericho Beach Kayak. It occurred over two weekends. The first weekend was refreshing skills at their center. The second weekend was a two night, three day kayak camping trip in Howe Sound.

I highly recommend this course for anyone who loves to paddle and wants to improve their skills and learn more. Our teacher, EJ, was knowledgeable, very skilled and an excellent teacher. I learned new skills and improved and consolidated those I already knew. The course greatly improved my confidence in being able to prevent capsize and also get back into my kayak with greater efficiency. Also a lot of information was shared about trip planning, navigation, safety and group dynamics.

The course was only four students with the teacher, so lots of one on one learning.

The only downside was that some skills had to be practiced in wind speeds of 12 to 19 knots. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate but we will find another time to do that.

I could not have asked for a better course to advance my kayak technique.

Had a great time on 4 day trip around Broken Islands group.

The trip was very well organized, and the food was just phenomenal. I am used to eating ramen and instant foods on my trips, so real meals prepared with love and care were amazing.

The guide Silke was incredibly knowledgeable and attentive.

We saw a lot of sea life, water birds, eagles, giant trees, waves, pristine beaches, and signs of traditional native living and history. I would highly recommend this tour and the tour company.

My son and I really enjoyed our kayaking afternoon out of Jericho Ecomarine Paddlesports. We rented a tandem kayak and explored Burrard Inlet for a few hours - what an amazing way to experience the area with an ultimate ocean view also checking out Point Grey and the fantastic homes being built along the waterfront. The staff at Ecomarine were awesome, they had gear and equipment ready and helped us plan our afternoon with the changing weather as first time paddlers in the neighbourhood.

Just returned from an extraordinary tour of Desolation Sound on the Curve of Time. Our days were full: guided trips by zodiac and kayak into peaceful coves and isolated lagoons; time spent watching orcas, humpbacks, seals and sea lions; short hikes to secluded lakes for freshwater swims; stand-up paddling on the calm waters of the sound; and magnificent views every minute of the day. The captain and crew were amazing — knowledgeable, capable, attentive, friendly, cheerful, and lots of fun. DON’T GO expecting all the amenities of a luxury cruise. DO GO expecting excellent, plentiful meals and snacks; comfortable beds; all the charm of life on a converted trawler; and the perfect balance of guided activities, choose-your-own adventures, and time for reading, relaxing, conversation, sea viewing and star gazing. Just DO GO — it’s the trip of a lifetime.

Near the Science World Ferry stop, there is a great little business that rents kayaks for the False Creek Floaters. We watched them from the Science World area and enjoyed seeing them get out there and ply the waters. Must be a challenge to avoid the ferry boats though!

My daughter and I booked a tour with Talking Trees, Talaysay Tours which was advertised through our AirBnB booking. We were provided with excellent communication prior to our walk about meeting place and time. Candace arrived to the meeting spot at Stanley park and greeted us warmly. Her guided walk was full of important information about Indigenous knowledge, history and current political realities. She was gracious and warm, even supplying our group of six with hot herbal teas. Our conversations ranged from joint management of pristine wild areas to natural childbirth to eco tourism opportunities and challenges. She even provided us with the reference for an aboriginal First Nations restaurant Salmon n' Bannock that we visited that evening for a delicious meal. All visitors to First nations territories should have the essential knowledge and perspectives of a First Nation representative like Candace. Thank you so much for the Talking Trees tour Candace! It was the highlight of our trip to Vancouver!

We did the half day canyoning tour in Kelowna. My two daughters 16 and 19 and my husband. What a fabulous adventure! We repelled down a waterfall, zip lined into the water and slid down natural water slides. Guillaume was fabulous always pushing us to try it but letting us know.all the options if we were hesitant. Always gel safe and it was a great adrenaline rush.

We so enjoyed our three-days away kayaking Howe Sound. We brought our 12 and 17 year old girls and made some wonderful family memories together. It was so fun to island hop and be right on the water during the hottest weekend of the year. :)

John and Jess are great guides - super relaxed, but extremely well-prepared. They are able to pivot with different situations, anticipate tides, etc. They had all the gear so we didn't have to worry about anything from all the kayak-related equipment to wet bags, tents and even sleeping mats.

We couldn't believe that each meal was not only healthy and delicious, but made fresh from scratch. Seriously. No freeze-dried packets or instant noodles! John was even kind enough to accommodate all our challenging allergies and restrictions - even down to the snacks.

Thank you so much for everything, John and Jess! We can't wait to do it again soon!
