We rented a tandem kayak and explored Burrard Inlet for a few hours - what an amazing way to experience the area with an ultimate ocean view also checking out Point Grey and the fantastic homes being built along the waterfront. - Zach G1 contributionUzzi is great to deal with. He is a no pressure guy and is very transparent throughout the buying process. I bought the camp-in aluminum AO pop up tent and it has been amazing. I’ve taken it on two trips down dusty logging roads. The seal was perfect and nothing was dusty upon arrival. The mattress is extremely comfortable and the perfect size - it slept my wife and I and could have slept our child as well. The zippers are high quality and the rain proofing is quality. The only downside to the pop up tent is the support bars on the inside have no padding around them and the skirt around the base sometimes lifts off (easily puts back on). All in all it is a fantasist tent and an amazing buying experience. Our days were full: guided trips by zodiac and kayak into peaceful coves and isolated lagoons; time spent watching orcas, humpbacks, seals and sea lions; short hikes to secluded lakes for freshwater swims; stand-up paddling on the calm waters of the sound; and magnificent views every minute of the day. The captain and crew were amazing — knowledgeable, capable, attentive, friendly, cheerful, and lots of fun. DON’T GO expecting all the amenities of a luxury cruise. DO GO expecting excellent, plentiful meals and snacks; comfortable beds; all the charm of life on a converted trawler; and the perfect balance of guided activities, choose-your-own adventures, and time for reading, relaxing, conversation, sea viewing and star gazing. - AJ MSaint Thomas, Canada20 contributionsDon't be afraid - satisfy your interest and try it! Skilled, calm, and friendly teachers. I've done the liquid yoga at the Westin with Ian a few times and do the SUP yoga at White Rock beach with Tobey on a regular basis (I live in White Rock). Both are interesting awesome experiences. Being on the ocean looking at White Rock from the ocean is a breathtaking, meditative experience. You may fall in, but that's ok - we just get back up on our boards and complete the fantastic yoga. Nothing too difficult is done, and we are always walked through the poses slowly. Feel the water beneath you - it's fantastic! Anchors are provided to help stabilize the board so we don't float away or move much while doing the poses. There is always enough time given for meditation, appreciation of the environment around us, and some self reflection. No judgement among us. There is nothing like looking at the reflection of the sun on the ocean, from downward dog, or appreciating how blue the sky is from savasana! It is a 'moving' experience in all aspects!
