That was a fantastic experience. Loved it. I highly recommend it, within a short time you see and feel the natural beauties of Canada.

We lived in downtown Vancouver for the last 10 years before having to change provinces. Going back for a visit this year, I must say, we miss it greatly. Despite the traffic problems, you can walk anywhere downtown and always be fascinated by the sights. There are buskers playing on the sidewalks, great restaurants everywhere and a real vibrant city feel.
Sadly there is a lot of drug and homeless problems which the city is continually dealing with and with the warmest climate in Canada, there is no end in sight.
Despite this issue, downtown Vancouver is highly recommended as a must see. You won’t be disappointed.

We can't come to Vancouver without doing a ride or two at Fly Over Canada and I can't believe how much fun it is.

The area around the steam clock was amazing for a night walk and if you are interested in pubs, you are lucky as there are few pubs around.

nice way to see the city! I loved the info cards they have at the top that tell you about the spots you're looking at. The ticket purchasing process is self-service at an iPad, but there is an employee watching you do it and helping so it seemed pointless to do it yourself. kinda expensive for tickets but it's a cool thing to do on a clear day

It sin a central location and the building is amazing. It does have a covered atrium with a few small shops plus a gift shop run by the Friends of the library so do go & support them.

The art deco exterior is astonishing. The inside is well preserved and its good that there are now two cafe bars at the main entrance which are breathing new life into this historic building.

While autumn in Vancouver can often be cold and damp, if you are fortunate enough to find a dry day, come walk False Creek. since I didn't have time to do the whole thing, I concentrated on the SE corner, where I had appointments. Some great views from here, both natural and man-made (please see photos). Couple these sights with a flat walking surface and the fresh sea air, and you have a great walk for local and tourist alike.

Our False Creek Ferry stop here was an unexpected delight. Not really knowing what to expect, this was therefore an area we have neglected to explore in the past. Glad we did this time!

The outdoor displays were so imaginative and instructive. The giant dinosaur made out of construction debris is incredible. And the interactive water display entertained children of all ages. Curiosity knows no bounds. One display shows how the layers of bedrock, etc. would now be transformed with the advent of our discards.

The sheer beauty of the sphere adds so much to the False Creek views. Loved it!

There are a couple of parks around the central building at Science World; one is large enough for festivals (like one in progress) and another more refined and confined.

A beautiful facility - went for a Christmas craft show. We didn't get to see more but the view is amazing and it is near a lot of shopping, hotels, etc

This gallery was on my list of things to visit, we walked by it and I said I need to see this. The architecture is stunning, as well as the way items are exhibited. It was an engaging collection.
    We both thoroughly enjoyed it.

Yes, it is worth seeing - but be there on the hour or half so as to get the whole effect else it is just an old clock. Enjoy a coffee or do some shopping nearby

A beautiful garden, even in November. Built and preserved to be authentic. The docent was extremely helpful and knowledgable. Great, quiet place. Beautiful photos. Nice public park next door (that is free). The gift shop is wonderful. We took Uber right to the garden and picked up right from it as it seemed the rest of Chinatown didn't have as many businesses still open as it used to.

I was expecting more of a hockey arena type of feel. This was total opposite. It's not steep like that so you don't feel like you are going to fall down the stairs. :) Feels very open and actually comfortable. Great place for concerts, loved it. Bring $$$$ the food and liquor VERY expensive.

Certainly, the easiest way into downtown and the cheapest - especially on returning as you don't get charged an "improvement" tax. Well-recommended.
