A lovely place to visit, especially during the spring and summer when the weather is warm and sunny and fresh vegetables and fruits can be found in addition to local crafts, wines, and other artisanal items.
Live entertainment on stage occasionally, along with excellent personal connections with vendors: beverages of all kinds, mushrooms, veggies in season, soaps, handicrafts, and much more.

... excess of 30 years!); and the building that currently houses Munro’s Books is beautiful: Built in the neo-classical style in 1909, the physical structure is the perfect vessel to house such an iconic bookstore.
I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the selection, and I will definitely come back to this store the next time I visit Victoria.

The art of Mr. Vickers is world class so it's fitting that it be displayed in such a wonderfully suitable building based on traditional long house design.

... and t-shirts, to framed prints, beautiful leather purses and wallets, metal wall art, or home decor, jewelry, to carvings and masks - there's a variety of items that place it between a gallery and a gift shop.
I'm very grateful for the ways in which the K'omoks Nation has created a space for something more than an "art gallery," but a gallery and shop that has First Nations-produced crafts from across Vancouver Island f...

So a quaint, eclectic part of VI, serving much eye candy, as with goats on roofs, as well as the candy one likes to eat, also many other delicious options, as well as clothing, candles & other gift items.
This Candy & Ice cream shop is a hidden gem in Port Alberni.

Lovely gift shop with local artists, jewelry, books and postcards and walkable from castle.
We also enjoyed the Shinto shrine in the yard and browsing in their small, but well stocked gift shop behind the admission counter.

Strolling up Government street wouldn’t be complete without a stop in the lively Rogers Chocolates Shop!
This is an old fashioned chocolate shop and we stopped to visit to sample their new truffle collection.

We love to stroll up Beacon on Thursday evenings in the summer...! Lots of vendors with baking, fresh farm vegetables, loads of food vendor options, live music, and a summer party atmosphere.
Local fruits and vegetables, jams, baked goods, local art, street musicians, a food truck or two, locally made jewelry, one-of-a-kind crafts, and happy people wandering and chatting all leading down to the main pier.

Small but good selection of west coast art and a few less expensive items as well.
