    Kevin our driver was amazing with his knowledge of the places/streets we drove through. It's these tidbits that add so much more pleasure to a trip like this. We also managed to grab dinner at Fisherman's Wharf in Victoria. That was cool !

    a wonderful tour
    My wife and I enjoy very much for this tour. We watched two huckaback whales, a group of dolphins and big sea lion families during the tour. It’s really a wonderful tour. Thanks captain, tour guide and Five Star Whale Watching for their knowledge, good and kind services, definitely recommend this wonderful tour.

    Fun visit to Victoria
    Wonderful day trip. It is long but worth it. Everyone gets to enjoy. Guide was knowledgeable and friendly. Plenty of time in Victoria. It was a hot day so definitely take sunscreen and keep hydrated.

    Beautiful Victoria
    I was thinking for going to Victoria but the transportation was so difficult. I decided to join a local tour and I picked this one, and I never regretted. Brent was my tour guide and he was nice, responsible and knowledgeable. I had a great time in the gardens and had a nice afternoon tea at Fairmont Hotel in Victoria. A lovely day indeed (if it had not been rainy, it would be perfect)!

    During our first whale watching tour with Prince of Whales, we did not see any whales. They guarantee a whale sighting by giving a complementary tour, but we were unable to redeem that complimentary tour as our vacation in Victoria was coming to an end. Many years later, we returned to Victoria and Prince of Whales honoured their complementary tour. That tour was the most amazing trip possible as we witness several breaches, an actual hunt, and some post-hunt celebrations. I am so grateful that this company is so committed to conservation and ensuring all customers receive a great experience. Steve

    Fun tour with great food and an overview of the area.
    We had a very enjoyable tour with Andy. He is knowledgeable about the history and food in the area and made it a fun tour with great tastes of different types of food. And he was great with restaurant recommendations too!

    Amazing Day in the Salish!
    We are Victoria locals who bid on a voucher to go whale watching with Five Star Whale Watching at an auction. We didnt really expect much as the whales are typically quiet in October but wow were we ever spoiled. Humpbacks and Orcas were all spotted and our Naturalist, Alexa, was so knowledgeable and answered every question we had for her. Captain Andrew was also great. From the booking to the cruise everything was seamless and fantastic. I will be recommending Five Star to anyone visiting.

    Stunningly beautiful
    The gardens are gorgeous and the bus drivers provided great commentary on the way up and back. This is the #1 (or maybe #2) thing to do in Victoria.

    My only recommendation is that the busses should also stop and pick up and drop off at the Butterfly gardens that is about one mile from the Butchart gardens so that people have the option of adding the butterfly gardens to their visit.

    Once in a life time experience
    Great experience. Such lovely, welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable staff. We saw two different pods of orca whale including a 6 month old baby, very exciting. We also saw seals, sea lions, eagles and a porpoise, amazing. It was a little chilly but we were provided with a padded jumpsuit which kept us warm throughout. Highly recommend.

    Nice Views of Victoria by Carriage
    We booked this tour in October 2021 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The information provided by the guide was interesting, and the views were beautiful. We especially liked how well cared for and healthy the horses are. I recommend this if you visit Victoria.

    Relaxing fall evening
    Off season but worth it! We knew we were going on a cold fall evening, but it was the perfect end to a long day. We relaxed and enjoyed the stories shared by our driver, she was wonderful! She shared historical tales about the area and the architecture. We knew it would be dark and the gardens wouldn’t be a point of interest, but I imagine in the daylight it’s a dream. All of the main. Holdings were lit up and our driver was very knowledgeable about the architectural history. There’s something magical about a carriage ride, no matter the weather or time of day. Highly recommend this relaxing excursion!

    Two thumbs up. First for Brenda, our tour guide. Friendly and knowledgeable she made the tour a wonderful experience. Second for the itinerary which took us to places we would not have found on our own and provided eats and drinks which were tasty. Side benefit we passed some nice shops which my wife and I visited the following day helping the Victorian economy.

    Comfortable ride
    This was a great way to return to Seattle from Victoria instead of having to make our way all the way back to Vancouver. The process for boarding and border control was very easy. The trip itself was very comfortable and you would hardly know you were on the water. We left at 5pm in January, so there was not much to see as it was dark for most of the trip. I'm sure during the day the scenery would be an added bonus. While it is close to most hotels and amenities in Victoria, you will need to be sure to have a ride arranged in Seattle or be prepared to walk as it is not close to any public transportation.

    Soren through Victoria on a pedicab
    Taking the pedicab. ride with Soren was definately a highlight of my trop to Canada.

    Soren is truly gifted and made this experience one I will remember and cherish for the rest of my life. Hs knowledge of history, his passion to make sure you are having fun and his humor all in one was epic! I

    If you are visiting Victoria or are a local who has never done this, I HIGHLY recommend you get on a pedicab with Soren for such a fun and informative treat! :)
