Wow! What a remarkable three days with our great Coastal Wilderness guide, Justin. His knowledge, patience, helpfulness, expertise, humor, pre-trip planning and passion made our catch-and-release fly-fishing river outing for chum salmon unforgettable and tons of fun. Many thanks, too, to upbeat and super-personable Coastal Wilderness owner Curtis Smith who checked all the boxes (and then some) on our arrangements, making sure we had a productive time on the water. 10 stars out of 10.

Our family group had an amazing time at Orca Camp. Due to Covid, we had delayed our trip which was originally planned for 2020. So glad we decided to finally go. There was lots of wildlife sightings, including Orca’s. The last day was truly magical. Beautiful weather, calm water, and just as we launched our kayaks a large group of Orca’s swam by. We watched them from our kayaks, for almost ½ hour. Then we saw seals, and a humpback whale diving. On our way back to camp, there was a 3 legged bear on the shore. On other days bald eagles were seen.
Tents are spacious for 2 people and the cots have thick sleeping pads. I am over 6 feet tall and could stand upright in the tent. Nice! A lantern, clothes pole and tote box for clothes were provided. Most tents were steps from the rocky beach. The views of the water and surrounding mountains were spectacular. I enjoyed watching the many large cruise ships that sailed by.
Meals, cooked by guides Jesse and Dan, were fresh and delicious, and served buffet style. There was always something on the menu for everyone, including the vegetarian in our group. Jesse cleaned and cooked the few fish we managed to catch from shore. Eating area was rustic but was well sheltered and the propane heater took the chill off.
As inexperienced kayakers, we were a bit nervous about being out on the “ocean”. There were double kayaks available, and after the training provided by the guides, we never felt unsafe out on the water.
The only drawback, if you’re not used to camping, is the toilet facilities. But, the composting toilet along with the camp’s goal to leave the land as the found it, were worth an inconvenience.
Water was pumped to two sinks, one for cooking and one beside the toilet facilities. There was even a rustic shower with hot water from a propane tank.
Overall, our group had a truly amazing time. It’s such a beautiful and unique part of Canada. The ocean views, the mountains, the wildlife, and of course the Orca’s made for an unforgettable adventure.
Sandra, Jesse and Dan are informative, calm, knowledgeable, safety first, and great ambassadors for BC.

My mate & I fished with Blake 8 years ago and it was a great experience. In September we finally got back and went out a few days with Eric, one of Blake's guides. What a fantastic 3 days - Eric knew all the right spots & we limited out daily with Coho, Halibut, Ling Cod & even Vermillion. To top it off we had an absolute blast a few times using a flyrod and buck tailing for coho....SO much fun!!

I would highly recommend Cleanline fishing as a professional outfit that do all the little things to ensure that we enjoy the experience....as Eric says, when you're with him, it's your boat!!

We'll be making this an annual trip for sure.

Excellent 6 hour charter! Matt was our guide - he was personable, knowledgeable, and hard-working. We went offshore and inshore eventually got into fish. The boat itself was also top-notch.

Had a great experience with Tofino Fish Guides. It was our first time salt water fishing and we caught a good amount of fish! Not only did Lochie make sure we had opportunities to reel in salmon, but we also learned a lot of about salmon habitat and how to look for just the right conditions.
Would definitely recommend and would do this trip again! Q

Our experience at RO was amazing. I don't know what was better, the fishing or the staff. Both were outstanding!
We had Jay-bo as our guide and he put us on fish each and every day. We limited out and came home with lots of fish in our boxes!
The staff started with a warm welcome from Azure who showed us our rooms. And they were the best we have ever seen at any lodge.
Then we met Brooke who is like the godmother of RO. She met us at the dock each day when we came in with loads of fish and spearheaded the picture taking.
The owners, Angie and Adrian, are a very caring couple who truly care about your experience. They treat you like one of the family and they also treat their staff the same! Everyone at this lodge had a smile for each patron and was eager to answer each question we had.
The food is not to be leftout either. Chef Billy does a superb job with a small kitchen stove (soon to be replaced with a commercial stove) at providing fantastic meals of local seafoods and even a delish flank steak from BC's interior. All his dishes were outstanding!
We hope to be able to make it back next year but we need to eat up all this years catch first..!

Terrific experience here with High Roller Charters in Ucluelet! We caught 4 Coho and one big Chinook salmon! Todd was an outstanding boat captain! His boat was practical yet comfortable and he took excellent care of us. His friendly and warm personality made the fishing experience very pleasant. He helped us reel in the fish and took us to more peaceful waters when the swells started bringing on some nausea. We saw a harbor seal, an otter, and eagle and even a WHALE! Afterwards, Todd fileted one of our fish for us and gave us good advice on where to go to freeze and pack our fish for the trip home. 10 stars! Thanks Todd!

I was just in Uculet on a two day fishing trip with a friend and we booked a 2 days of fishing. Now this is pretty much the end of the fishing season in that area. We were lucky enough to get Ryan as our guide. Ryan has been a fisherman for most of his life and it really shows. Not only was he able to put us on fish both days he was able to give us an amazing amount of information about the area and always had a smile on. I will be heading back to Cameron charter’s very soon I will be be bringing other friends to enjoy the awesome time.
    Thanks for everything Ryan.
I am glad to recommend Cameron’s charters to anyone who really wants to have a good time on the water.

Had the pleasure of taking our visiting friends out on a fishing trip with Captain Mike of Haida Gold. We had an excellent morning and thoroughly enjoyed our time on the water! A successful catch of three gorgeous Coho capped off the trip! Will definitely book again next year - the Secret Cove trip sounds amazing!

Just finished a tour with Brin the owner that included crabbing, finishing, whale watching and wildlife. It was glorious, especially for February in Tofino. It was warm and sunny with hardly any wind. We cruised around Vargas island enjoying craft beers. Visited a secret fishing sport for a spell and trapped 6 dungeness. Brin is a chef so he showed us how to steam up fresh crab on a portable BBQ. Such a memorable and special day.
