Very clean and nice but very small. Not nearly as many exhibits as there used to be. It’s only $5 to get in so value for your money.

Nicest park I've ever visited! So many beautiful flowers and wonderful landscaping. Kids all loved the petting zoo.

Bucharest Gardens is my favorite part of part of Victoria Island. But there were so many additional attractions, it really is hard to pick:
The castles, the butterfly gardens, the harbor, the museum and its totem poles, a beautiful restaurant on the tiptop of a ravine, the waterways to and from Victoria -- "to" being west from Anacortes through the San Juan islands, and "from" being across the Straits of San Juan to the south, back into Washington.
Everything is worth your while! You mustn't plan less than a week, and more if you can afford it!

We didn't know what to expect but we were so enthralled with this mansion...castle is a stretch. The rooms are beautiful and the wood paneling, stained glass and Limoges tiled floors are spectacular.

Beautiful drive. Some very beautiful homes, especially in the Uplands area. There are deer everywhere and not at all afraid of humans. All drivers are very polite and pedestrian street crossing is very safe! We saw three separate Pianos outside in various areas. There are all-painted differently from the others and in working order.

If you like miniature worlds, this is it. Expect to spend at least 1 - 1.5 hour to look around. Quite a few creations on all kinds of subjects and time periods. Generally well done. A couple of dolls houses at the end.

Take a stoll on the Breakwater, after a bit at the local eatery. Great to unwind and appreciate the value of nature, and the engineering of man to protect it.

We loved meandering through the garden and seeing all of the interesting foliage and beautiful blooms. High Tea was a delightful bonus. The tea was delicious and the pastries were unique and enjoyable. Our tour guide was Realita (?) and our bus driver was Emily. We enjoyed the beauty of Victoria with our guides information.

The ferry from Port Angeles to Victoria is CLOSED due to Covid 19. This is normally a great way to get to or from Vancouver Island and Washington without going through Seattle.

Had a wonderful time with our two kids aged 7 and 4. It’s a small zoo but they do an excellent interactive tour where you can touch and hold many of the bugs. Our kids loved it.

Nice walk with a variety of stores and eateries. Service varies from eating place to eating place.. if you are really hungry order early at Irish Times.

I love walking over to Government House. The gardens are lovely to wander around. Always very quiet. It’s in a nice neighbourhood so makes a nice walk along the different streets. Craigdarroch castle is a short walk from there.

I had wanted to stay at the Empress for many years and finally did so this year. We booked a Suite with a harbor view on the first floor which was beautiful. Very roomy with very high ceilings. Not all Suites have the higher ceilings like the first floor according to our bell-man. The hotel provides you with Le Labo Rose 31 soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. They have even gone so far as to have this scent in the HVAC system in the lobby area. The scent is amazing! Normally I leave these items behind when checking out, but not this time! The room service was wonderful. Table with linens and nice dishware, utensils. This was a nice surprise as other hotels we have stay in during pandemic do not provide this. We will definitely stay at the Empress again!
