    AMAZING
    The trip was very eye-opening. The ferry was HUGE, it was great. It was a very long trip though so be mindful of that but Dave our tour guide was amazing and even took us on an extra route to see more things. The gardens were beautiful and so was Victoria. Highly recommend if you are able to undergo a 12 hour day.

    Don’t sit up front!
    We sat upfront. We couldn’t hear anything the captain was saying.. so we missed out on a lot. I gave a 4 because we did see whales and he seemed to have a good handle on where they would be, their behavior, etc.

    Great guides and driver
    Omar and Aiesha made the trip simple in terms of meet spot, timing, and informative. Tickets to Ferry, Butchart Gardens, and all van transportation included. We felt they gave us enough time on our own at both stops and were not per say part of tour group.

    Four long years!
    Way back in The Before Times (2019), I told a Seattle pal I'd go back to Victoria on my next trip up.

    Oops.

    I've traveled to Seattle twice since Covid, but the borders were still closed. This visit, I was determined to get back to B. C. no matter what the weather forecast was.

    Booking was easy, and boarding at the Seattle piers was a breeze. The trip over was smooth, and the skies opened up to brilliant blue skies dotted with fat clouds (some ominous looking, some cotton white).So much for the 87% rain forecast 🙄.

    Customs and immigration was quick (it was a Wednesday, and I was day tripping).

    I explored outside of the harbor area, as I'd been to Victoria several times in the past. Lots to see, as always.

    The return journey was smooth, from customs and immigration to the ride back. We slowed down briefly for a pod of orcas (I saw a few fins!) but got into Seattle ahead of schedule.

    Whether you're going for the day or longer, the journey is comfortable. I especially loved the bottomless refill cup of coffee. It was a cold breezy day, but I took advantage of the rear deck and enjoyed the briny breezes and the views.

    Hard to believe how much we took for granted has changed. 🇨🇦🛳️

    Hidden Gems in China Town and Victoria
    This is a fantastic way to see other parts of Victoria and venture into some wonderfully unique eateries that you might not discover on your own. It's also fun to hear the history and stories about the buildings and business owners. Our guide and tour owner loves his job and the chefs he takes is to see.

    The weather was beautiful. The scenery outstanding. The Ferries God Forbid…not so much.
    I’m sure no one is ever prepared for issues when you’re at the mercy of others.
    I’m thankful the ferry ride over was on time and uneventful.
    For a premium, one can choose to stay in a lounge sequestered from throngs of screaming babies and the endless traipsing of children roaming the aisles for an hour an a half of the sailing.
    I say that to say the return was a disaster that clouded the entire experience.
    Our original ferry left early and delayed us an hour… making our trip that much longer on the evening return.
    The premium lounge was closed, resulting in unmitigated chaos from the moment we boarded to 15 minutes before we disembarked.

    Gonna be a long day. Just a heads up. It’s not a trip for the faint of heart.

    We walked over 7 miles and climbed roughly 30 flights of stairs. By the time we finally ended the day 13 hours later every muscle ached. And I bike 12 miles daily.

    Guide was pleasant and did his best to keep the group of 28 moving in the same direction.

    We’d use Alex again.

    Convenient and easy!
    Convenient pick up and drop off locations, easy to purchase ticket to the gardens ahead, at the bus, friendly staff and bus driver provided great and interesting information. Bus was on time and also appreciated option of several return times if you wanted to spend a little longer at the park.

    Incredible day on the water
    We had an incredible day with Five Star Whale Watching for Mothers Day. The crew and staff were amazing and took great care of all the guests, you can tell they truly care. We saw a Humpback close to Victoria, plus lots of Porpoise! However, the crew checked if anyone had time restrictions and then headed off to where Orcas had been found, what a bonus. We encounter over a dozen Orcas , which the crew explained were socializing as there was more than one pod. The Captain expertly and respectfully navigated the vessel around the whales keeping the appropriate distance. The knowledge Naturalists provided incredible information about the wildlife we encountered and also the area we visited, so informative, educational and inspirational! We would highly recommend this company anyone visiting Victoria and wanting to go Whale Watching. Just remember they are dealing with Wild Animals in their natural environment. Incredible and memorable day on the water.

    Relaxing fall evening
    Off season but worth it! We knew we were going on a cold fall evening, but it was the perfect end to a long day. We relaxed and enjoyed the stories shared by our driver, she was wonderful! She shared historical tales about the area and the architecture. We knew it would be dark and the gardens wouldn’t be a point of interest, but I imagine in the daylight it’s a dream. All of the main. Holdings were lit up and our driver was very knowledgeable about the architectural history. There’s something magical about a carriage ride, no matter the weather or time of day. Highly recommend this relaxing excursion!

    Hawaiians in Victoria BC
    This was an awesome tour! Joe had great energy, enthusiasm and knowledge of the city! She took us to 7 fabulous places that gave us a wide variety of foods, textures, tastes! We were wowed the whole time and stuffed by the end! I would totally recommend this tour!

    Great Victoria tour guide
    Had great time with Kiki. Right on time for tour. Very knowledgeable about all things Victoria. Private tour operators are not allowed to tour Butchart Gardens, but he gave us all the info we needed to make our tour enjoyable. Highly recommend.

    Sea Plane to Victoria and Butchart Gardens
    Victoria by Sea Plane including ground transport to Butchart Gardens, that is the best way to do this trip
    Harbour Air will organise the flight to Victoria, Vancouver Island and also the ground transport and entry ticket to the gardens as a package.
    The flight is a short 25-30 minute flight and you land in the heart of Victoria.
    There are shops, cafes and restaurants near the harbour in Victoria that are great to explore after you return from the gardens.
    Make sure you leave enough time to walk around Victoria after the garden visit. We left Vacouver Harbour at 9:00 am and arrived in Victoria at 9:30. We jumped on the bus to the garden at 11:00 and got to the garden at 11:30. We returned to Victoria on the 2:30 bus and enjoyed Victoria until our return flight at 6:15pm.
    We arrived back into Vancouver at 6:45 which was perfect for our dinner booking at 7:30.
    10/10 for Harbour Air.
