- RobertMJThompsonVictoria, Canada787 contributionsI'm happy to have an annual Imax pass after all the Covid turmoil. From fascinating shorts to feature length blockbusters, the line up this year looks great so far. I like going during the week when it isn't so crowded. With my pass I can bring a friend for a cheaper price. Check out the latest with Jane Goodall. It will leave you feeling hopeful for a changeWritten April 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- zenasmilletVancouver34 contributionsWhat a cute theatre! A friend & I watched a quirky independent Canadian movie last night & it reminded me how fun it was to go out & watch a non blockbuster. They even had Straight &Narrow for sale! Very civilized outing.Written November 26, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Muncher65Nelson, Canada78 contributionsWhat I liked most about this cinema was the chairs. They are big and firm, unlike some cinemas that cheap out on the foam in the cushons. The theaters are smaller, which may or may not be your thing. The bathrooms can be a bit of a hike if your in the upper theaters, so plan ahead.Written November 10, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - operalover939Toronto, Canada2,936 contributionsOur Victoria friends consider this movie theatre to be the best venue for Met Opera HD broadcasts, and we have no reason to question their judgement. Today’s offering was Akhnaten by Philip Glass, opulent but on the static side. I’m glad I saw and heard it, but I don’t need to see it again. The theatre itself is fine and the lobby offers a good opportunity to get a bite to eat or something to drink during the intermission(s). Tillicum Mall has ample free parking, so that’s also a plus. I’ll happily come here again, because the theatre complex is well equipped, complete with IMAX.Written February 16, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
