- GLGFLOcala, FL8 contributionsGreat option for transportation from cruise ship terminal to Butchart Gardens. I could not find good options online so we started walking towards downtown and 1 km from ship saw First Choice Bus. They had a sign in the front window for Butchart Gardens and offered round trip transportation for $15 per person. Bus left at 11 am arrived at Butchart Gardens at 11:50 after scenic drive through town and great commentary from drivers. They allowed us 2 hours to tour the Gardens and then dropped us back off right at the pier. They offered a downtown drop off as well. I would highly recommend First Choice and this option for cruise passengers they were great.Written August 30, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Anne T1 contributionMy recent business trip down to Victoria was made enjoyable by travelling via Wilson's bus lines from Nanaimo to Victoria. The very capable and friendly driver was a highlight of the trip. Travelling the Malahat in the winter months is not my most favourite activity but this trip was made easy by taking the bus.Written December 11, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Graham PMelton Mowbray, UK555 contributionsWe had been told in advance that we would be better off walking or taxi to Victoria from our hotel and with 4 cases that was sensible. However the bus depot staff were good at getting luggage marked, onto the bus, whilst we boarded. The Connector bus is preferred traveller on the ferry so we were first on and first off - time saver.
Ferry is good, relatively quick and comfortable.
We were dropped off at "standard" drop off points in Vancouver; this was not a problem and we were able to walk to our hotel there....the driver did however tell us where we could pickup a taxi if we needed too.Written October 21, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
