We walk to this spot a few evenings each summer to enjoy a sunny patio (usually by ourselves - because the golfers prefer the indoors and air conditioning after golfing all afternoon). The sunsets are beautiful overlooking the golf course. - Richard B18 contributionsWe actually stayed at VRBO site below the resort, but this area is gorgeous and unique, in that it is a large neighborhood that has been carved out of the side of this mountain (Bear Mountain). Where we stayed was a little apartment that was attached to a house and over a garage. If you walk down the driveway a little bit from where we were staying, the view is spectacular of Victoria and all the way across to Port Angeles, Washington.
The only drawback is that this area is somewhat secluded and you will need a car to get around in (it is roughly 10 minutes down the hill to stores and restaurants, and around 20-25 minutes to Victoria).Written July 24, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
