- deb839Vancouver, Canada55 contributionsIt was our first time doing an off-road tour anywhere, and we definitely got access up the mountain that we wouldn't ever have had on foot! My husband really enjoyed driving the buggy. I opted not to, also because I didn't feel like paying $45 extra for another driver.
Craig was a great, patient guide who was SO good with our kids, most specifically the little one who wanted to stop the tour because he was feeling sick from being in the back. Craig brilliantly offered for him to ride on the back of his ATV and our little guy LOVED that.
Canadian Wilderness staff was great in offering winter gear for anyone who was improperly dressed. My husband borrowed a yellow jacket to go over his clothing; and both he and the boys borrowed (thicker) gloves with the little one insisting on dexterity that mittens don't provide. Husband and I borrowed balaclavas to put on under our borrowed helmets and goggles. I should have borrowed some snow pants because I thought my knee-length jacket would keep me warm, but there were times when it was a bit chilly. When you return, there's a section where you could put your used items after the tour, ready to be cleaned and laundered. The staff were fantastic with getting the correct size of items for our kids.
It's an expensive experience but as my husband told the kids, this is a once in a lifetime kind of adventure. But I'd like to come back and ride my own ATV next time! They provided all the winter gear, taught us how to drive the vehicles and even had a mini training trail before we picked up speed on the main trail. Our guide Tom was patient and helpful! He got to know each of our driving abilities and supported us. This activity exceeded our expectations as did Whistler ATV. Everyone we dealt with was very professional and kind. I was the only one on this eco-tour and he was very friendly from the moment we met and took care of me from start to finish.
For example, when I was taking pictures and videos along the way, he slowed down and waited for me to leave. He also listened to my poor English as a Japanese and kept the conversation lively with fun conversation, and we had a lot of laughs during the tour.
I learned a lot not only about Whistler's ecosystem and plants, but also about the history of Vancouver ... .
He was also very eager to answer my questions and I was impressed by his wealth of knowledge.
Although it was my first time in Vancouver, I learned a lot and had a wonderful day of outdoor adventure.
I would definitely recommend this top notch outdoor adventure tour to anyone who wants to visit Whistler. No it's not, if you visit Vancouver, you should meet Brian.
ブライアンとのエコツアーは本当に素晴らし物でした。
このエコツアーには私一人しか参加しなかったのですが、彼は会った瞬間からとてもフレンドリーで、終始私の事を気遣ってくれました。
例えば、私が道中で写真やビデオを撮っていると、スピードを落としたり、車の発信を待ってくれたりしました。また、日本人の私の拙い英語にも耳を傾け、楽しい会話で盛り上げてくれ、ツアー中は笑いと会話が絶えませんでした。
ツワーについては、ウィスラーの生態系や植物だけでなく、バンクーバーの歴史についてもたくさん学ぶことができました。私の質問にも熱心に答えてくれ、その知識の豊富さに脱帽です。
バンクーバーは初めてでしたが、多くのことを学び、素晴らしいアウトドア・アドベンチャーの一日を過ごすことができました。
ウィスラーを訪れたい人には、ぜひこの最高のアウトドアアドベンチャーツアーを勧めたい。いや、バンクーバーを訪れたら、ブライアンに是非会うべきです。

Eden was the perfect guide - regularly checking on us for both safety and to make sure we were having a blast. And we were!!! We would absolutely recommend the family buggy adventure to anyone.
