Good value with the discount I got from my lodging code. Very friendly with coffee or hot chocolate provided. I was able to store my boot bag there securely for free while I was out skiing. WIll use again next time.Written February 9, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

- Ralph H3 contributionsI stayed in Whistler for a month this year in August and rented a specialised DH bike from Summit Sports for a period of 24 days. My experience could not have been better. The bike was on point and staff kept it in excellent running condition for the period of my rental. They took time and patience to tweak the settings to my preference, were always friendly and available for a chat, always helpful and approachable, always happy to give general or specific advice, or just have a chat and a bit of a banter. I am already planning my trip to Whistler for next year, and will certainly rent from Summit Sport again.Written August 26, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Scott SWashington DC, District of Columbia1 contributionThis was a valuable service that helped make a ski trip with 4 teenagers completely hassle free. I heard that the service is not going to be continued. I think management should reconsider and raise prices if necessary. I thought the pricing was incredibly reasonable for the hassle of getting rentals for multiple people.Written March 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - yo886 contributionsDon’t go to Can Ski thery have no idea to fit boots. My son’s new boots leaked and they had to tape it. Finally they refunded the money as they did not have a boot to fit him.
We went to sure foot to get him a boot but made the mistake of coming back to Can Ski to get his boot to fit his binding. They however set it wrong and on his first run he came off his skis. Resulting in a neck injury. We went to Coastal Culture at Creekside and they said the bindings were done wrongly. I went back to can ski in the village to tell them what happened however until today the manager has not contacted me. I had an awesome experience with Larry/James and all the staff. I started by visiting the store to look at their skiis and after a chat they narrowed down the selection to 2 skiis that would suit my ability and style. Next, I demoed both pairs within the same day. The first ski that they selected for me was the one that I bought, but I wanted to try others to make sure it was the best. Over a 3 day period, they selected the right ski for me, set me up to demo them and then setup my new pair and finally on day 3 applied the Phantom wax (apply once in the lifetime of the ski). Every morning I'd visit the store and they'd happily store my street boots while I skied. During the whole process I never felt pressured to purchase anything. Everything was done as an education which makes you feel like you're getting expertise help and value. Oh, and DPS skiis are the best skiis that I've ever skied on in my 50 years of skiing.Written December 11, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
