Seamlessly fitted our family of four with skis. Professional, friendly and informative. Provided advice on skis, piste ‘warm up options and app suggestions.
Lawrence and Charlie had a great customer focus, they were great at listening to us all and after a few days of travel it was a welcome experience. In short Black tie provides personal level service with easy aftercare should you wish to change skis etc. Thank you.

After having done the valley trail on e-bikes with a girlfriend last year, I really wanted my kids to experience the magic of these trails and the multiple lake/park stops possible. We contemplated bringing our own bikes from home but the kids age 5 and 9 have very low stamina (an hour ride max at home). I knew the valley trails were extensive and we would need e-bikes to really enjoy it all. We saw a family on cycle Whistler radwagon bikes riding with their kids on the back and we knew that that was the perfect solution. My husband is 6 foot 4 and I am 6 feet tall, kids are 5 feet (age 9) and 48 inches (age 5) and we rented two rad wagons (lots of space). We had a kid on the back of each bike and they loved it. My 5 year old fell asleep so the safety bars were great. A bag with food supplies for the day was behind her and she used this as a backrest. The electric assist on these bikes is amazing. Hubby convinced me that there was no shame in doing gear 3 assist level 5 to literally feel like we were on scooters with very minimal physical effort. The kids looooved the speed and going over small bumps on the cement trail. Gleeful giggling was heard the entire trip. The kids in the caged bars could also face forwards and backwards and my nine year old kept busy taking photos and video of the family from the back. Five star experience. Staff were very helpful. I would 100 percent rent the same bikes again for our kids next year as they have to be 16 to ride their own electric bike. We rented the bikes for four hours (plenty for non regular riders). We stopped at meadow park, lakeside park, nitka lake (to see the retired gondolas, alta lake and road home. Rainbow park was closed for renovation but the kids played on 3 different playgrounds, ran out onto multiple docks to see the views and they could even snack while we road. They said this experience was by far the best part of their Whistler experience.

This was a valuable service that helped make a ski trip with 4 teenagers completely hassle free. I heard that the service is not going to be continued. I think management should reconsider and raise prices if necessary. I thought the pricing was incredibly reasonable for the hassle of getting rentals for multiple people.

We had ag rather experience at Summit sports. We arrived to rent skis for my 2 children (aged 3 and 5)
We had been turned away from a previous rental place as they did not have small enough skis for the 3 year old.
We were looked after immediately by Caroline who was efficient and excellent with the kids. She made and while prcess very easy - thank you!

Have visited this store previously without reviewing it. Back in Whistler and needed a few new things so I went there once again. The staff are very helpful and polite, amongst other things I purchased new ski poles, a few days later my ski instructor suggested I needed shorter poles to ski with, so I returned to discuss it with the staff who happily exchanged my then used poles with a new pair of shorter ones.
I have purchased boots previously through the store boot fitter Barry and even a couple of years later he is happy to make minor adjustments on them!
Certainly second to none with the customer service.

Best shop in Whistler village. Friendly and helpful staff. A fun vibe. Independent business, unlike many of the shops in the village. Top notch bike rentals and service. This is the premiere place to rent bikes, buy bikes and gear and to get service in Whistler. Exceptionally good.

I just bought my first pair of DPS skiis and I'm thrilled. I had an awesome experience with Larry/James and all the staff. I started by visiting the store to look at their skiis and after a chat they narrowed down the selection to 2 skiis that would suit my ability and style. Next, I demoed both pairs within the same day. The first ski that they selected for me was the one that I bought, but I wanted to try others to make sure it was the best. Over a 3 day period, they selected the right ski for me, set me up to demo them and then setup my new pair and finally on day 3 applied the Phantom wax (apply once in the lifetime of the ski). Every morning I'd visit the store and they'd happily store my street boots while I skied. During the whole process I never felt pressured to purchase anything. Everything was done as an education which makes you feel like you're getting expertise help and value. Oh, and DPS skiis are the best skiis that I've ever skied on in my 50 years of skiing.

This was the ultimate one stop shop for our first visit to the Whistler bike park. The bikes where VERY good and well maintained and even after multiple days of smashing and bashing the trails in the park they took it all and where ready for more.

We took a guide for the first half day and as a guide Austin was a legend. We had multiple skill levels and he helped correct our technique and showed us the best trails to ride of and then gave suggestions for the next day and a half )including a few hidden gems).

We had all the safety equipment we needed we good quality helmets, armour and even water bottles provided. They will be the first stop when we come back next year.
