The easy/better way to get to the train wreck is to turn off Hwy 99 at Cheakamus Lake Rd then go right on Legacy Way and turn right onto Janes Lake Rd to either parking lot. Go to sign for Train wreck follow trail & sign. Go over suspension bridge and your there.

Went with my girlfriend, had a great time, we were both beginners but the staff cater to all abilities.

The chaps on duty when we were there were fun, joined in and made sure we had a nice time.

    Highly recommended.

My wife and I took a day trip to the Callaghan Valley from Vancouver. We purchased day passes from the user friendly website. On Monday we left at 8am and arrived around 945am. Drive was easy, traffic was light. Woman running the rental shop was very good. Pleasantly surprised to learn that as grandparents we got the Monday parents discount. ($17 off rentals). Glorious sun filled day. Perfect conditions. Spectacular scenery. All sorts of terrain to choose from. Not crowded at all as we shared to trails with a only few families. We skied for about 4 hours and ate our packed lunch brought from home about half way thru. Returned our rented skis and had an easy sunny drive home. A great day in the snow. Wonderful facility practically in our backyard.

Both amazing instructors who put all their energy and more into ensuring you push your limits, build your confidence, learn new technique and have a fun filled day. Their enthusiasm and passion for both skiing and their job is really great to be around. They are also extremely patient and ensure everyone in the group gets what they want out of the day. I couldn’t have asked for better coaches and will be sure to put your wise words into action, thank you!!

Amazing silent spa with GREAT massages. Move from hot tub to cold plunge to steam room or relaxing space and repeat. Perfect serene spot to read a book. No talking and no phone rule is enforced by staff. Bring sandals.

Had a great 2 days learning avalanche safety on the AST 1 course in Squamish (snowshoeing). I came from not knowing anything to learning a lot. Day 1 in classroom was informative and the trainer Elodie even went through all the weather websites she uses which was useful. Day 2 went snowshoeing to Red Heather and did the practical part. As a group none of us had experience with the avalanche equipment and we all came back feeling confident in how to perform an avalanche rescue. The trainer sent us more information/videos after the course as well. Recommend using MSAA for avalanche safety training.

Kudos to Wayne and Andrew, our guide and driver for a tour of a brewery, distillery and market garden in the Pemberton area. Our group of 15 had a ton of fun and learned a lot. I recommend Whistler Tasting Tours for groups or individuals alike.

Amazing guide service, incredible fishing and beautiful area to fish! I had some time become available last minute and Clint was very helpful in helping me arrange my first fishing visit to BC. He worked very hard to put me on some great fish despite some weather challenges. This included coaching me through landing my personal best fish on the fly which was a battle I will never forget. I look forward to going back in the near future. Great outfit and I'd recommend a trip to any level of angler.

We had an amazing time out today on a bear safari with Jason. He picked us up from our hotel and took us looking for bears. He was very informative about the bears and clearly cared about them. We had a fantastic time saw a number of bears and even got to see a mum with her yearlings. After the tour we were dropped back at our hotel. It was amazing and I would recommend it to anyone interested in seeing bears.

You turn up at an out-of-the-way golf clubhouse by the river, and spot Eric drinking his first coffee of the day.
He sits you down and gets you to fill out the disclaimers - quite a gruff, no-nonsense sort of chap but with - you gradualy realise - a great sense of humour. You put on lifejackets, get bitten by mossies, wander down to the riverside and a rickety wooden jetty, climb into the jetboat, a short safety briefing and have just the best fun for about an hour.

Eric knows his stuff - the river, wildlife, and (importantly) how to pilot a jetboat. We didn't see too much wildlife but that wasn't the main reason for taking this trip - we had already had one or two safaris and float trips further east.

He tells you stories as you start heading (slowly, at first) upriver. After a while he opens the throttle and you zoom, glide and bounce through the rapids. This thing can turn on a sixpence, as he shows you on several occasions. Occasionally we drift, or he "hovers" pointing upstream whilst idling.
Then it's a stricter safety briefing before the much faster and bumpier trip back downstream.

Throw in the scenery, gorgeous weather (at the time), a few thrills and big grins all around. A great experience, highly recommended.
