Did the Gondola trip up Blackcomb mountain. Spotted a grizzly bear amongst the trees. Due to the summer end could not do the Peak to Peak gondola. Was still a great day

Beautiful escape in the summer. from whistler village the walk through the forest is something to see.

on a hot day the beach can get very busy.

you can also take a shuttle if you don't feel like walking

Beautiful water fall under sunshine. Easy access from the parking lot. It’s only about 5 mins walk, ok for kids or seniors.

We had a fantastic time at the Sliding Centre, our guide and pilot were very knowledgeable. It was very fascinating to learn about how the track was built and maintained. The ride down was exhilarating! We would definitely do it again, maybe this time in the Winter!

It is a bit surrealistic, seeing wrecked train cars in the middle of the forest, but it is a very popular walk, and with some highly informative signs along the way!

I wish that we could see museums like this right across the country. What a wonderful way to celebrate and learn about Indigenous culture, history and art. A must-see for any visit to Whistler!

If you are in whistler, this is a must do! We went to all three lakes for a total hiking time of 3.5 hours (30 minutes at the third lake taking in the view). We DID see bears in the distance, a momma black bear and two cubs, so definitely be mindful of wildlife. Running shoes or hiking shoes are a must! Same with bug spray.

If you visit Whistler you must make time to do this.

Allow plenty of time. It can take a lot longer to get to the top of the mountain than advertised and the suspension bridge and viewing platform open later and close earlier than the gondolas. We visited as it opened at 11am and I would highly recommend this to avoid the queues later in the day.

From the top of the gondola you then have to ride an open ski lift to the highest point. This is amazing in itself as you leave the noise from other people behind. It is silent apart from the water flowing down the mountain.

It was in the middle of a heatwave when we visited but there was still un-melted snow at the top. The views are absolutely stunning.

Use mosquito spray before heading up, they are rife at the top of the gondola.

Very nice area to take a stroll. Next to the olympic plaza itself, lots of shops and restaurants give a cosy vibe. Easy to spend a few hours at and breath a bit of history.

This was a great experience, however with the prices being quite high, for our family of 14 there was no group rate to help in reducing the cost. Once on the mountain majority all of the eateries were closed....

Service was a little slow but the beer was good, and we wee glad we stopped in. Nice place to watch a game, also, and the food looked good.

A great place to spend a sunny day in Whistler. Cycle down there from Whistler village, take your bathers and a picnic, rent a kayak or paddle board and just relax in the sunshine. There is a cafe (coffee, cold drinks and snacks), rest rooms and changing cubicle. Perfect!

Hitting the trailhead yesterday was amazing, once you hit the 3km marker you will start encountering isolated patches of snow. This becomes a snow trail from around 4km. Snow is densely packed all the way up to the meadows, around 5/6kms from the tusk itself. However once here, without snow shoes the snow becomes almost impossible. With the warm weather we started sinking, at points up to our waist. If you are planning to head here as we, snowshoes are defo recommended if you plan on getting anywhere near the finishing point. Be safe hikers!
