Our driver was Fabulous! She loves her city and happy to show you everything it has to offer. Her driving was excellent we had 4 inches of snow day of tour and she was very patient because getting us to some of the sights took some doing. Highly recommend her and this tour.

Very easy to use - clear commentary …. All my questions answered as I strolled along
Only criticism - pronunciation of ‘kilometres’ which should rhyme with ‘pillowbeater’ …….
Will take another tour if it warms up again during my visit.

The Tundra Buggy is a great way to see the bears in a warm and comfortable environment. There is even an on board bathroom. Our driver (Jim) was very entertaining and you could see and feel how much he enjoys his job. We saw many polar bears (plus a number of birds) and some bears were very close to the Tundra Buggy. We had lunch on the Tundra Buggy and enjoyed soup plus a sandwich and cookies while viewing a nearby polar bear. Quite a treat !! We would definitely recommend this trip if you are looking to see polar bears. Great trip !!

Life got in the way of me writing this review sooner, but the delay should not detract from the awesome experience we had with Frontier North. We could not have asked for a better experience. Everything went like clockwork. We were busy from the moment we touched down in Churchill to when we returned to Winnipeg. We saw SO many bears. I had hoped to see one, and we saw more than a dozen. We also learned so much about the indigenous people and local history. Accommodations were basic, but comfortable and clean. I believe Frontier North actually built, or bought, the hotel where we stayed, and two of our restaurants were directly across the street from the hotel, so super convenient. Food was good. Our tour guide, Ward, also arranged for us to take a helicopter tour. The Polar Bear International researcher who accompanied us on the Tundra Buggy educated us so much about the interdependency of the plants and animals in the ecosystem. Our Tundra Buggy driver, Jim, was the very best!

Despite the airline losing my luggage, I never was at a loss for anything. They go above and beyond looking after you.
This trip is much more than just the lights.. which we saw every night. The dog sledding was exhilarating. I snow shoe at home always but this terrain was different. Easy though. Loved it. I was sweating in -30. Stopping the tundra buggy on the frozen river to get out and explore is worth the trip itself. Dan's diner provided an exquisite meal complete with scotch tasting.. glenlivit I believe.. at the ice bar by the fire outside with the lights dancing overhead.
Churchill people proudly show you all their sites and respect for the land and environment.
I am so impressed with Frontiers North I will return for beluga, or polar bears. Maybe both.

Had to go to attend a funeral. Stayed at an AIRBNB. Airport is slick! Easy in and easy out. Very few airports are this easy to fly in and out of.

Was kind of fun, being local. A little strange to have stops which weren't actual places, they were other areas around winnipeg. But all in all, still a fun thing to do at the price.
