Found the shop on Facebook Marketplace because of searching for a listed item, Mille Bornes Card Game. Chase was very prompt and friendly messaging plus had more than reasonable pricing!

I had inquired about the game and found out it was missing a few cards so I had passed on the item then out of the blue Chase messaged me saying he has the game (with all the cards) in perfect condition which I immediately said yes to. I could not personally pick up my item but he set it aside for a friend in the area to get it on my behalf. My friend spoke with him on the phone about avoiding construction in the area and he was very helpful (even provided parking tips). She said the shop was very cool. Will definitely bring my business again there based on my overall experience :)

I've been to this market several times, mainly for lunch. There is such a lovely variety of ethnic foods. My favourite happens to be the yummy Ethiopian cuisine . . . the combo is good, complete with injera (spongy flat bread) with which to eat the food instead of utensils.

My sister was with me today and I was concerned there might not be any gluten-free options for her, but NO WORRIES, there were at least 4 vendors with GF meal options. She enjoyed her Sri Lanken butter chicken on Jasmine rice, and I enjoyed my usual Ethiopian meal.

Already looking forward to our next visit!

I had gone a couple of times, each time feeling extremely unwelcome. The owner follows you around as if you're going to steal something. He discourages any browsing, makes it seem as though he wants only in and out purchases, and has absolutely no customer service skills whatsoever.
Once when visiting years ago, I saw an ornament made by a local potter I follow. The ornament had the Fredericton cityscape and said "Fredericton, NB" on it, and at the time I knew my mother was looking for a Fredericton ornament for my brother who had just moved away. I asked if I could take a photo to send her, and he declined. I told him I could delete the photo after, and if she liked it I would buy right away, and he declined again.
I thought I'd try again, but I felt as unwelcome as I remember feeling any other time going.

This artist cooperative represents over 50 craftspeople who create within an hour and a half drive of Fredericton. They have original, not mass-produced, paintings, jewelry, pottery, woodwork, knitting, cards available year-round at very reasonable prices. Member artisans staff the shop. All monies raised through membership and consignment fees go into the collective’s operating budget. The shop is in downtown Fredericton on York Street at Queen Street just up from City Hall. It is open Monday to Saturday 10AM to 5PM and seasonally on Sundays May thru December. While visiting the city for a conference, I bought a small painting and a brooch as souvenirs
