A vibrant busy place to check out local goods and foods. Typically very busy and somewhat pricey but interesting to walk through.

A beautiful park in the middle of Fredericton. Perfect for a hike of an hour or so as well as outdoor play time with the family.

It is an edifice worth competing with the European palaces, well worth a visit. Unfortunately, it closes at 4:30 or so and we were there too late to see the interior which I read is gorgeous. I recommend coming into town a bit earlier.

A brilliant landmark in New Brunswick showcasing exquisite Indigenous and other fine art works from across the province. Her Honour Brenda Murphy was most gracious.

Unfortunately, it is under a revitalization process, therefore, we kind of missed the opportunity to see its full beauty. The city aims to complete the project next year...

Majestic Anglican cathedral church in downtown Fredericton was consecrated in 1853. It is built in the Gothic Revival style. I did not go in – it was closed when I passed, but I did view the interior online. The cathedral was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1983. It is the only Cathedral in Canada that is not itself a parish.

Great free walking tour of the city. I highly recommend it. We learned lots about the city and the garrison district. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Many thanks to Matthew!
On our way back, we saw our guide again and toured the historic jail/soldier’s quarters. So much to see and so much history! So glad we stopped in Fredericton and did the tour!

Lots of vendors with a variety of items for sale and a great selection of food trucks. It makes for a nice stroll by the river and an easy way to have dinner .

Nice walk around the lake. Wide trails, clean and well indicated. Nice little beach too! Dogs allowed too!

Stopped in for lunch yesterday - Monday November 14th. I had a local amber ale that was quite nice and my wife had a Chardonnay that was also quite nice. For something to eat, I first had the fish that arrived with a soggy batter and was not that appealing really. I made the observation to the team and they were understanding. I changed my order to a burger and it was delicious. Meaty, flavourful and properly cooked for me. Just a little pink in the middle. My wife had the BLT and it was OK. The fries were good and they do this Cuban mayo that is different and delightful. The establishment is clean, large and airy with a nice view out over the St John river. The staff efficient, friendly and just good.

This was pretty cool. Walking in the streets around is so cute and fun. Very colourful. Downtown is near by if you want to go to eat.

We enjoyed visiting the area and reading the informational plaques in front of each building. The young ladies at the historic City Hall were friendly and helpful in explaining our options. The museum is open, but Officer’s Square is still under construction as of August 2023.

They have the same stores as many other malls I've been to, but their selections and clothing styles all vary so it's always a pleasant surprise. Nice to stop in and look around when you're in the area (only if you like shopping of course).

I am not sure we have ever encountered a N.A. city with such good and extensive walking trails. They are well designed and heavily used by locals and visitors alike.
