A vibrant busy place to check out local goods and foods. Typically very busy and somewhat pricey but interesting to walk through.

A beautiful park in the middle of Fredericton. Perfect for a hike of an hour or so as well as outdoor play time with the family.

Unfortunately, it is under a revitalization process, therefore, we kind of missed the opportunity to see its full beauty. The city aims to complete the project next year...

Lots of vendors with a variety of items for sale and a great selection of food trucks. It makes for a nice stroll by the river and an easy way to have dinner .

Science East is in a building with an interesting history. There is not an abundance of exhibits. Yet they are interesting. Adults visiting without children can spend up to one and a half hours at the museum. Due to the hands on exhibits groups with children can stay longer.

We went for a family walk around the lake-2.5km, perfect for small children.
It’s a busy place with lots of families with the same idea.

There are longer trails for those more inclined and what looks like a great place for winter cross country skiing.

A small museum displaying various displays on the region's history.

I particularly enjoyed the depiction of the poignant story of the Acadians and the excellent map animation depicting their movements as well as those of other groups involved in the many tragic conflicts of the period.

I also learned more about Confederation and the local drama that enfolded prior to the province joining in!

Paid a very reasonable six dollars CANADIAN for 2 hours of enjoyment.

We came here after dinner since it was a stop on the city's geocaching tour. It was a nice place to stroll to and we loved learning about the barracks' history. The geocache was hidden in a clever place!

I visited here, after attending the opening sessions of Indigenous Peoples Day, at the Legislative Assembly Building, downtown. There are numerous small gardens and various trails, both along the river and in wooded areas of the park. It is across the street from the Town Plat, so elements of Fredericton's history may be gleaned here.

The Botanical Garden was well maintained although not many plants were blooming at the time of our visit which we expected. The trails are lovely. It was very hard to find as the Fredericton driving tour booklet had us park almost a kilometre away and walk. There is a parking lot right at the entrance.

I've been to this market several times, mainly for lunch. There is such a lovely variety of ethnic foods. My favourite happens to be the yummy Ethiopian cuisine . . . the combo is good, complete with injera (spongy flat bread) with which to eat the food instead of utensils.

My sister was with me today and I was concerned there might not be any gluten-free options for her, but NO WORRIES, there were at least 4 vendors with GF meal options. She enjoyed her Sri Lanken butter chicken on Jasmine rice, and I enjoyed my usual Ethiopian meal.

Already looking forward to our next visit!

The interesting thing about Fredericton and the regent mall it is Cineplex cinema but that to needs to move up with the times and offer the same features and new cinema experiences as it does in other cities. Washrooms did not smell as nice as the popcorn!
