- Alicia CJacksonville Beach, FL57 contributionsWhat a great experience. The ship was clean and pretty. It was easy to get my car on/off. Beware that upon entering Canada, you may have a lengthy wait getting through the Canadian border. Ours was about an hour in the car, but this is not the fault of the ferry company. We took a similar vessel last year to Bimini, and it wasn’t nearly as good as this trip. There’s food to purchase and a cute shop onboard. On the way back to Bar Harbor there was live music. There aren’t many outlets, so make sure you bring chargers for your electronics. Tip: get on and go straight to the front lounge to claim a seat with the best view.Written June 17, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- 46JimH46Casa Grande, AZ881 contributionsYou have to make several trips to the Falls in order to get the feel of what happens. During low tide, the river runs over the falls into the Bay of Fundy at a very rapid rate. During times of high tide, the Bay of Fundy reverses the flow of the river at such a rate that salt water can be detected 90 kilometers up river.Written May 19, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Will G1 contributionHad a great time. Knowledgeable guide, and the tour was just the right length (about an hour). Being able to sample the full array of options on tap at the end of the tour is pretty much the best (and only) way to end a brewery tour.Written June 14, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- TO-psychToronto, Canada306 contributionsI enjoyed stopping by here on a recent trip. I had already eaten, and wished I hadn't! There were some delicious smelling foods being made including fresh pasta, Lebanese food, and Korean food among many others. This is also a nice place to shop for souvenirs. I got some nice items from Fiddling Ferns - screen printed bags, napkins, tea towels and such. The artist herself was there. They also have a place you can try local beers and there is a seating area. They have many jams, honeys, mustards and sauces for purchase but as I am traveling by air without checked luggage, I didn't buy any.
On some nights, there is an evening market directly beside the building with outdoor food stalls and artisans.Written June 6, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - KaylieMoncton, Canada15 contributionsThis museum is so cool that I might die soon. I am not usually very amused by museums. I have visited over 309 on my expeditions around the world. This one is by far the worst. The best exhibits you could imagine but the worst smell ever. I had to take more than one shower when I got to my hotel. Bring gas masks if you don’t want to die of smell.Written March 29, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- KaylieMoncton, Canada15 contributionsGood park but I accidentally got bitten by a lobster that was very big and it really hurt but I took a picture so the police can take further action into preventing any more crimes from that lobster. The lobster is hopefully being prisonned shortly. 5 stars. Don’t wear sandals here the workers might cry.Written March 29, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- McShanes7 contributionsA fantastic cruise, with Royal Caribbean, Started in Boston, We loved Saint John, was only there for a day, but enjoy the sightseeing tour and craft market,Written April 14, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- BraeingleManhattan, KS253 contributionsThis mall, close to the cruise ship dock, is an interesting mix of retail (clothing and a wonderful leather bag store) and community (the local library and museum... with gift shop). A food court, pub, and Tim Horton’s make this an all encompassing stop for any walking tour of the St. John harbor.Written September 28, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Bonnita504 contributionsThis is an excellent walking trail with lots of resting areas. And art to view. Very well kept excellent for all agesWritten February 11, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- BobbieTampa, FL430 contributionsThis is across the street from the city market. We walked around a bit, but it was a cold damp day, with the drizzle turning to rain when we arrived. Sadly several of the gorgeous old trees had been severely damaged by the recent hurricane, but this is still obviously a great place to meet a friend, let kids play, or just relax.Written December 6, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Deb FNanaimo, Canada160 contributionsTook the tour around the house. Very well cared for indeed and the antiques in this house are wonderful. Had the full tour around the house, and learnt about the old day. Fascinated with the fire stands to stop the lady of the house, to have rosy cheeks from the fireplace. Don't want to look like the hired help, working hard. The tables, seat, dishes, all well looked after on display. The history about the house, as it nearly burn down in the historical fire. Glad the society is able to keep it going and they are so prod of this house and it shows. Please go and see this house, and the money you donate keeps the place going.Written November 22, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- AMsaysThornhill, Canada3,484 contributionsThe tower brings 200 years of history to be acclaimed a National Historic Site. The brochure says it has “a rich history, a spectacular view, a bastion of fun!”. I agree with the first two but “no bastion of fun” for me, it’s undergoing a substantial restoration, so interior viewing was not possible. Still, you can imagine the tower sitting imposingly over the surrounding area, whose combatants were ready to defend Canada at all costs.Written August 18, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- BrentandLori D1 contributionFresh produce, excellent fish, delicious food, great coffee. Dog friendly and a nice walk around the square.
