What travellers are saying
- JakeGunnerHarleySchenectady, NY144 contributionsWas a beautiful old building with high ceilings with old wood. Had a variety of vendors with gifts, souvenirs, ready to eat food and fresh food and meats available. Also had a variety of international items available.Written November 4, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - DeanMurphy2020Orlando, FL7,764 contributionsPerhaps Saint John City Market siphoned off many visitors, or the void of people may have been attending a street fair that weekend in June. Since the tour group was on a tight schedule with many attractions to visit, I had only a few minutes to walk through the area. Sadly, it was enough. Given the street fair, don’t take my monocular view of this site as a recommendation to or not to visit. The time of morning I was there, few people were milling about. Perhaps nightlife is more inspiring.Written October 4, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Deborah WSaint John, Canada5 contributionsGreat market, expensive food $24.00 for two loaves of bread. A couple of veggie stands and lots of pop up food to eat, cute and a nice thing to do in a Sunday morning. Bring your own drinks.Written July 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- NHjoSaco, ME15,029 contributionsThis place is great! I loved the paintings, pottery, textiles and jewelry in particular. There are so many talented artists featured and a wide variety of art styles. I'll definitely stop in again on my next trip to St. John.Written June 2, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - SaucysavoryBrampton, Canada1,827 contributionsThis is the kind of spot you just want to browse with your coffee stopping occasionally (or more often if required) to pet the friendly cat. A variety of artists works are displayed, beautiful works and some are quite fun. My favourite are the Pieces of Saint John series by Cameron Bohnstedt. The stunning steeples , lamp and dome of the historic architecture are beautifully captured through some sort of 3 D printing and hand painted. He has also reproduced the Jelly Bean Houses and a streetcar series. Very creative and attention to detail. Like so many of us that have moved away from Saint John, this is a wonderful way to recapture the magic of those historic architectures. Check it out, I’m sure one can find that special gift of art.Written January 20, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - renSaint John, Canada27 contributionsMy family has been shopping at this mall for years because it's in our area and has lots of other places we frequently visit nearby. On top of that, the actual mall itself has a good selection of stores for different budgets and aren't usually too busy (except for weekends or near the holidays). The stores are always changing and getting new stuff which is great to see! For kids I'd totally recommend the stuffy riders - tons of fun!Written August 31, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Sara W1 contributionWe popped into Trinity Gallery today and ended spending over 1/2 hour chatting with the wonderful owner Beth about her beautiful gallery that she has owned and operated in a gorgeous historic building downtown for over 30 years. She has a variety of stunning artwork that just draws you in. If you are downtown Saint John be sure to go in and say hi to Beth. She also has an amazing Live jazz and wine event she puts on every Friday night 7-9 that we were very sorry to have missed. It's a one of a kind intimate event that attracts people of all ages. We will definitely be back in the summer so we can attend. Beth is one of those people who we felt like that when we left the gallery if we only lived here I know we would be friends.Written January 4, 2025This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - EdwelshNorth Canton, OH7,342 contributionsWell done area where containers are converted into little shops, restaurants, bars and entertainment. At places, they stacked the containers and erected stairs creating spaces to enjoy a drink with a view. I liked the engineering, it was a lively space, the bars were busy, one place had a huge screen and had the Blue Jays game on. Not sure how much is going on when the cruise ships aren’t in town. But to us, sadly, this was the highlight of our stay in dreary Saint John.Written September 17, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alicia LSaint John, Canada33 contributionsI have always loved urban shoe myth. They have amazing shoes with great service! They also have great sales seasonally, and you can get an amazing deals on designer shoes. They recently expanded to offer men's and children's shoes. I recently had a defect in a pair of shoes and they went above and beyond my expectations! I think this has been the best "merchandise return" experience ever! Go to urban shoe! buy all your shoes there! You will not regret it! plus you are supporting a local business!!Written April 3, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
