We had a great time on our tour. Doug and Darren were fun, helpful, accommodating and informative. The bikes were in good condition. So glad we chose to spend our day in port with them.

I booked this tour as we were cruising and this tour would meet us at the ship. When I went online and found the Bay of Fundy Tour by Bus, it stated that the group maximum would be 33 people. I made the assumption that my wife and I would be a part of a group on a motorcoach tour.

As our ship was having some delay issues with debarkation, I notified the tour company that we could possibly delayed. They responded that the driver had arrived would be at the meeting location with a sign with our name on it. When we got to the meeting point, we were met by Ali our driver and our guide. We followed him to our transportation and was surprised that it was a passenger van, not the motorcoach I had expected.

There was one other couple on the tour, the husband was seated in the shotgun seat up front and his wife was settled into the second row when we arrived. It would have been crowded and uncomfortable if three of us were in that second row. Therefore, my wife and I had to crawl our way back to the third row of the van. Every time we stopped, we crawled out and back into the van.

Ali was quite pleasant and showed us a lot of interesting things around the Bay of Fundy but he wasn't a typical tour guide loaded with information about the area. There was a lot of silence as we drove around. It was a reasonable tour but would hesitate to recommend this tour to someone with any mobility issues. Given an opportunity of a "do over", I would have spent the money to have a private tour for just my wife and me.

We booked as an excursion off of our cruise ship. Highly recommend and enjoyed our time making the stain glass masterpiece.... It was so much better than riding around in a bus on a land tour.

As a travel advisor, I can honestly say I would have been horrified if I would have booked this tour for a client. It was a classic bait and switch. My concerns began the day prior to our tour as a meeting time had not been arranged. I tried many times to reach this tour operator via text and whatsapp only to receive no reply. We finally heard back the at 8am the morning of the tour stating only "we are outside". Our tour guide spoke poor English and had zero knowledge of the places that we visited. He was nothing more than a taxi driver that this company hired for the day. We did visit (ALMOST) all of the sites that are listed for this tour, but the driver knew nothing about the places that we visited, nor did he have any knowledge of the general area. There were also safety concerns about the vehicle, namely non-functional seat belts. For the cost of this tour, I cannot recommend this company.

Had a small group tour with Darren and was beyond impressed. I have been on many other kayak tours and this was by far the most dynamic.

Darren had great knowledge of the local area, the history, and nature we saw. His love for kayaking was extremely apparent.

For anyone interested who has not kayaked, you'll have a great time.

Boarded our bus and went to where St John River and the Bay of Fundy
meet to see the Reversing Falls. Low tide 0927 and high tide 1514
with a rise of 28-feet expected today.
St John River is 500-miles long and starts in Maine. Foam in the water here
from a drop of soap Moose Head Brewery uses to wash each bottle before filling.
New Brunswick Province is 85% forested with 33 species of trees, mostly
evergreen. Very little topsoil. Glaciers covered the area until 12,000 years ago.
Visited St Martin’s. Old, covered bridge was 2 x 10’s. New one is 1 x 6’s. Bow of work boats rests on cradle when tide out. Lobster fishing is two seasons.
Stopped at Cave View Restaurant. Caves cut out by wave action. Long
way out to water at noon, halfway between low & high tides. Look for stones with white rings.
Visited City Market, established 1872. It survived a major fire in this area
that took out all the old wooden buildings.
Back to the Reversing Falls at 1345 to see the seawater flowing in. Fisherman after striped bass. Cormorants feeding. Sometimes see seals here, not today. High tide 1514.

Professor Dewar was a great, witty guide with a dry funny sense of humor! He was very knowledgeable. We were happy with our experience!

This would have been a 5 but the weather socked in. Having said that, after Hopewell Rocks, drive down to the little town of Alma. There is a Fantastic Mom and Pop sized restaurant serving fish and chips on the high side of the street. Nice little bakery as well across the street. The cookies were killer good. Just Do It! Great little break in the routine.
