To say that you were in the oldest store on the oldest street in the oldest city in North America, would be completely amazing. It has tons of Newfoundland music and instruments to play that music. Staff allows you to touch and pick up instruments and they'll help you with anything you want. There are lots of items made by local artists and local businesses which is nice to see. They always dress up the front windows very nicely as well. I purchased a pair of the warmest knit mittens ever, with a classic pattern - worth every penny (45 CAD)!
Just take a look inside this small store, and you will find the best handiwork in knitwear and accessories. It's wall to wall delights. I need to make a correction as to when I went. It was 2015, not 2020, but the drop down menu wouldn't allow me to put the date in there.
