This is a very beautiful facility. So many different areas to see exhibits on four floors.

This is easily accessible for everyone must see when you come to St. John’s.

A good overview of a family business of port wine. Some interesting parts of the history, toppled off with a taste of port

Learn about the NFLD “narrow gauge” railway and coastal ship service. Good layout to follow with decent visuals. A large-scale model layout represents the entire province.

A very unique and important piece of history from WW2. The staff are all volunteers who are like encyclopedias with their knowledge of the memorabilia and significance of everything in the club. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend.

It was great to swim at the Memorial pool while I was here. The cost to get in is $4.85 - and last yeapr it was $2.50 and the hours have been greatly reduced - with the swim from 12:00-14:00, Monday to Friday completely done away with and the hours are now very limited. Last night for example, there was swimming from 8:30-9:30 pm.- not great when you swim for an hour. But the pool is fine, not great, but fine and I prefer it to the Acquarena, and there are lockers - bring your own lock - and lots of hot water.

Alexis' art is lovely. She offers space in her studio for other potters as well which must speak to her character as an artist. We ate from her plates at Raymonds and now have a bowl at home.

Lovely little museum off the beaten track. Check the opening times before your visit and ring the bell for admittance. Staff are knowledgeable and welcoming.

This is a fine museum with art from, among others, Newfies. The museum also shows Newfoundland from its origins to present day. There are also beautiful vistas of St. John's. It should definitely be high up on the must see list.

This is a pleasant three story gallery in a previous house. The art work is beautiful and largely focuses on Newfoundland by artists that are local and from away. There is also artwork with themes from off the Island.

Print artist John Andrews has created cooper and linocut prints that celebrate things Newfoundland in creative and humorous ways. I purchased a linocut print spoof on an old Newfoundland postage stamp that includes a puffin in uniform. Recreations of beautiful pre-confederation Newfoundland coins also caught my attention with delight. John and his artistic colleague are typically behind the front counter engaged in their ongoing artistic pursuits, prepared to explain their respective techniques to patrons. Though I stumbled onto this fascinating studio, I'm thankful for the opportunity to visit.

We spent about a 1/2 hour going through here during the "door open" event.
The War artifacts are pretty amazing to see. Letters that soldiers wrote home are on display, uniforms, medals, and other war items are on display as well.
If you like history this is a must.

Thanks to Ann, our tour guide we came upon this place. We were impressed with the fact that it was staffed with an eager and knowledgeable young woman who knew loads of fun facts about this one room school.
