    Cruise ship port call
    We visited this venue on day 3 of an unscheduled 3 day stop in the city, having arrived 2 days earlier than planned.
    It does have a stop for the local hop on / hop off bus outside, but this had stopped at the beginning of the month, so its either walk up the steep hill or a taxi from the town centre.
    Very interesting inside on the 4 floor building, we were to stop for some refreshment in the cafe but the waiting queue was up to 1 hour.
    Best advice is upon entering, go to the top floor and work down to the ground level and allow a lot of time to absorb all the history here.

    Not just Trains but Ships Too.
    Learn about the NFLD “narrow gauge” railway and coastal ship service. Good layout to follow with decent visuals. A large-scale model layout represents the entire province.

    Little House on the Prarie-ish
    Thanks to Ann, our tour guide we came upon this place. We were impressed with the fact that it was staffed with an eager and knowledgeable young woman who knew loads of fun facts about this one room school.
