Not only does this hill have a lot of history to it, the views of the ocean and the city are amazing from the top. There are also a number of easy to moderate trails you can take to get different vistas and visit other historic buildings. Definitely worth a visit when in St. John’s.

The easternmost point in North America affords wonderful views of the area and also the cape is historic in its role in protecting the St Johns harbour during the Second World War. Lots of hiking trails a definite must see.

This was a great museum for the family with a mix of interactive and informative exhibits. The exhibits are done in a way that appreciates local culture.

What a great city. Loved the people. So kind and friendly. Top three experiences:
    1) Quidi Vidi - historical little neighborhood. Great food, art and walked around the lake.
    2) Signal hill. Great views.
    3) great eats and bars with music (especially The Ship for music and atmosphere )

Interesting rock exhibit outside the hall and my kids loved the store. We didn’t go into the inside exhibit because they were closing in 30 minutes and said they still needed to charge us the entry fee. Also there were lots of signs explaining that various things aren’t working.

The Basilica is worth a visit the old church is beautiful and also very historic and one few buildings to remain intact after the great St.Johns Fire. Only negative is that surrounding the church are a lot of social services that make the area a little sketchy esp to people like us who decided to,walk to the church from our B&B.

We were dead tired by the end of it, but wow that was by far one of the prettiest if not the prettiest hike we’ve ever done. Such beautiful views, and also love how there’s a few lounge chairs set up around the trail here and there for you to sit and relax. Even saw a group of people that brought a cooler and were sitting and sharing beers. Such a cool spot! Breathtaking

An absolute legend and a beautiful memorial! Love the quote “I just wish people would realize that anything's possible if you try. Dreams are made if people try.” That’s right behind the amazing statue. Beautiful area to pay homage to this warrior of a man!

What a beautiful place in St. John's. The playground looked like a great place for kids and the pool looked fun too. My favourite spot was the statue of Peter Pan - simply magical!

Stopped in briefly as part of our private day tour and got to peruse the artisan shops, purchase some souvenirs and snap a few photos. Quite a unique stop, would recommend a visit.

Great food, really great beer all made more memorable because of our outstanding server, Bhaskar. We liked the lunch experience yesterday so much that we went back today and were lucky enough to have Bhaskar serve us again. The roasted red pepper & tomato soup was really flavourful as were the mains - the fried chicken sandwich and the burger were really, really good. One of our group is a vegetarian and one is gluten-free - Bhaskar had some thoughtful recommendations which exceeded expectations. We will definitely recommend the restaurant to our friends.

This place was definitely always live! So much going on with a lot of fun people. We always enjoyed walking through here and drinking. It reminds me of Hess Village back in Hamilton, ON except way better!

We stayed in one for our Airbnb. Seems like most of them are being used that way. Many of them have recently been renovated and there’s a company here that has their hands full doing the same every summer. These are great to stay in due to their location. Many don’t have air conditioning which is starting to become a bother due to climate change and hotter summers.
