This is a beautiful winery and would be an excellent event venue. The staff are good and the view is extraordinary. We had lunch there and the chowder and shrimp tastatos were excellent. It isn’t designed for wine tasting though - you have to stand at the bar to try the wine. Disappointing when you’re just feet away from the dining room and its incredible view and comfortable tables and chairs. Highly recommended to visit and have lunch. The wine tasting setup are what made me rate it4/5 , because otherwise it’s 5/5

We usually stop here for a visit when we are traveling through Wolfville. It's an oasis of calm. There's a peaceful library, interesting greenhouses, and even a small gift shop. But the best part is to wander through the gardens, woods and trails in the back. It is all very well maintained, with good signage to explain the plants, trees and flowers. This visit, we were there in autumn which is a great time to admire the brilliant colours of the bushes and trees. Very nice!

This winery is lovely. Our wine steward, Ms. LeBlanc, was terrific. We tasted four wines. The apple ice wine was so incredibly delicious! I didn't care for the creamy version, but others in the group did. The other two wines were also good. The tasting room was spotlessly clean. A charcuterie board was set out for us and we were given appetizer plates. The cheeses were excellent. The shop even sells small bottles (test tube shaped) that meet TSA requirements for carry-on. I was disappointed they were sold out of these small bottles in the apple ice wine. (But that it very good for them.) I wish we had had time to have lunch in the restaurant there. I would give 5 stars, but the restroom was in the basement and the stairs were tough to navigate.

Literally stumbled on tis railway. We arrived at low tide and walked the trial a bit. Went to lunch at the Lightfoot Vineyard (make reservations) and then came back for high tide. AMAZING!

This was without a doubt the nicest vineyard we visited on our recent trip to the Annapolis Valley. The wines are all of good quality. The tasting room is in an old house, which is nicely preserved. I found it the most accessible of any wineries in the neighborhood. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed sampling their wine and were delighted there was no tasting fee! The staff was very personable. Our favorite wines were the rosé, Marquette, Chardonnay and Sauvage. The prices for bottles were a bit higher than average.

Hubby and I enjoyed our tour through the Randall House -A tour guide was fun and informative giving us insight into the history of the house.it was welcoming and interesting especially if you are a history buff as I.The attic was eerie but interesting with its contents and odd items.I did not see a ghost or feel a presence yet I was aware at all times of experiencing one..hope you go for a visit..you will breathe the past as every nook and cranny holds a little something for everyone!!

This is the oldest Presbyterian Church in Canada dating back to 1767. It does not have stain glass windows or a cathedral ceiling or velvet cushens on the pews. It does however exemplifies the simplicity of the early of the earliy churches of the 1700s.
This is still an active congregaion however, now a church affiliated with the United Church of Canada. Only wish we could have been there to attend worship on Sunday.

This delightful Art Gallery is part of Acadia University, and houses a permanent collection that is periodically exhibited and also there are special exhibits. There is a yearly showing of community works, and also a host of special events (including book releases, openings of exhibits etc).I It is no-cost, and well worth a visit - just check the hours of operation before you go.

This pub is in downtown Wolfville & seemed to be quite popular. I’d never tried hard cider before & didn’t know what to expect. Staff (& patrons!) were very helpful in making suggestions & pouring tasting samples. Staff also knew particulars of taking hard cider back through US Customs. There were many different kinds & I bought 3 bottles.
